First off I never leave reviews on anything but I wanted to make people aware of this place. We were really disappointed with our experience. The reviews and the website looked good and we payed for 8 attractions around £28 to get in. The place was very old and outdated and looked nothing like the website. The person on the door didn’t warn us there was a cue which we waited 40 minutes for. Once we got in we went straight to the 7D cinema which was a blurry big screen in a small dark dingy room. We got given 3D glasses that made the screen even more blurry and the seats moved but not in sync with the short film we were watching. We next headed to the upside down room. We walked straight in and straight out. It was a tiny dirty room, again looked nothing like it had been advertised. We then went into the VR room which again was a tiny room with VR headsets. There was an archery game which lasted about one minute. My partners headset had died so he didn’t get a turn. After this we headed to the ribbon room. We had no idea what we were doing as there were only two members of staff that seemed to be working one that was in the VR room and another that was on the door/ 7D cinema room. So there was no one manning how many people were going in and out of the other rooms. We entered and left immediately as there was far to many people cramped into again another tiny room full of dirty ribbons hanging from the ceiling. After this we decided to leave and not complete the rest of the attractions as it was just a waste of our time. We gave it the benefit of the doubt at the start and tried to give it a go to see if it would get better but it’s just completely falsely advertised and not worth the money at all. If I could give this no stars I would. It was such a let down as it was our last day of our trip and everything prior to coming here was amazing so we had high hopes. The place was completely understaffed and poorly run. Everyone that was there whilst we were, were leaving saying how bad it was and many people left early to. Avoid this place at all not worth a...
Read moreYou know that weird dream where everything feels off and the walls don’t quite make sense? They built it. It’s real. And it’s charging admission.
From the outside, it almost looks promising - like a place where magic happens. Inside? It’s where hope goes to charge its phone and quietly die. The ticket price includes access to several “attractions,” which I assume is short for “attractions to disappointment.”
Let me break it down:
Mirror Maze: I found myself… and then immediately wanted to leave myself. It’s three mirrors and a corridor so short that I saw the exit before my enthusiasm had time to fully die.
7D Cinema: That’s not a typo - they actually call it 7D, as if adding more letters will distract from the fact the film looked like it was rendered on a potato. The seat wobbled slightly, possibly due to uneven floor tiles rather than advanced hydraulics.
Laser Room: I never saw a single laser. I think they were imaginary. At one point I accidentally walked into a broom cupboard thinking it was part of the attraction. It was more fun than the actual room.
VR Experience: This one took me back - specifically to 1998. I haven’t seen graphics that blocky since I rage-quit Tomb Raider on a Windows 95. The headset smelled like regret and someone else’s forehead.
Butterfly Room: No butterflies. Just a very tired and confused rabbit staring at me like I was the exhibit. I bonded with them over our shared sense of disillusionment.
The only truly immersive thing was the scent of stale popcorn and crushed dreams. And let’s not forget the signs begging you to post about it on Instagram - because nothing says “magical experience” like a desperate laminated plea to leave a five-star review in exchange for… nothing.
Would I recommend this? Absolutely - to my enemies. Or perhaps to students of psychological resilience training.
House of Attractions? More like House of “how did this cost me 60 zloty?” An unforgettable experience - for all the...
Read moreSuch a waste of money I definitely wouldn’t recommend even if it’s just for your kids. We were instructed to start with the glass maze but that was the only instructions we were given throughout. There was no staff at the glass maze attraction so we were wandering around aimlessly to then realise there was no exit and that we needed to come back out the way we came in. We had to look it up on their website, to then find out that if you find a certain amount of numbers on the mirrors you can win a prize. No staff member told us about this so we obviously missed out on that. When we moved onto the next attraction, the male staff member showed no interest in his job. He told us to sit down in a room and left us sitting there for about 5 minutes, neither of us had a clue what we were doing. Eventually he came back and started the projector which wasn’t even aimed correctly, so the picture was hard to make out the entire show. The same man then led us into the next room which was supposed to be the 7D cinema. Again, he left us with no instructions and we sat there wondering what was going on. He eventually came back, gave us our glasses and he started the film. Again, he barely spoke to us. The film was very outdated and overall just really really bad. When it ended he let us leave the room again with no instructions. We walked into another room assuming this was the next attraction and we stood there clueless. He eventually came back and said “who are you?”. After reminding him we were with him 2 seconds ago he set up the VR for us, not even 1 minute in we set them down and get up to leave. Such poor quality VR sets, reminds me of the cheap one I got for Christmas when I was 15. We asked for our money back and they obliged. In small print they say if you don’t like the attractions you’ll get a refund so if this happens to you make sure to ask for your money back. Because it definitely wasn’t...
