Rzeźnia - Ribs on fire - Stare Miasto — Restaurant in Krakow

I'm absolutely SHOCKED by the reviews vs the experience here. Full disclosure, I'm from Texas. So my rib pallette might be different than their usual customers. But I actually ate here when they first opened in 2014ish. And it was pretty damn good. Now, their too busy claiming to be the "best ribs in Krakow" on all their marketing material to actually pay attention to the ribs coming out of the kitchen.

I ordered the full rack of baby backs with the Bourbon sauce.  The ribs were right on the edge of being burnt. And absolutely bland. At least the Bourbon sauce was ok to give it some flavor. The rack cut was terribly stingy. Fries are those half straight/half wedge types. They were fresh and hot. The slaw is pretty tasty. Different, but tasty.

For the price, from an American perspective, its barely passable. And if we're really being honest, these are NOT the best ribs in Krakow. From a franchise Sioux is far better. A local spot, Restauracja Golonkarnia. Rzenia really needs to go back to what they were doing before they became a tourist...

The ribs are undoubtedly delicious. But their prices are very high. We used to come here regularly, about once a month, until prices started to rise gradually. Since then, they also do not serve hot towels to wipe the hands. We stopped being regular visitors as soon as prices rose to an inadequate level. We recently visited the place again: I am glad that the interior of the place has been renovated and more seats have been made. But customer service is a disaster. The waitresses show no respect. They communicate with complete indifference. Moreover, we tried to call the waitress to ask for the bill, but she turned away several times at the sight of us. The same thing happened when we finally got the bill, and were asked to examine it. We waited about 30 mins to pay until we came to the bar ourselves (by the way, the tables nearby were empty). Nasty attitude...

Pl: To miejsce jest bardzo przereklamowane, przyjechaliśmy z grupą 4 osób i każdy wybrał inne jedzenie i napoje. I żadnemu z nas nie podobały się potrawy. Żeberka były spalone i suche, Kiełbaski są bardzo tłuste, pokryte olejem oba steki (Milon i New York) były zwykłym kawałkiem mięsa średnio rzadkiego z przeciętnym sosem Tatar jest po prostu bez smaku Piwo nie jest złe, ale koktajl prosecco z jagodami jest obłędnie słodki. Za obiad zapłaciliśmy ponad 500 złotych, ale lepiej byłoby po prostu pójść do McDonalda.

Swoją drogą na obu piętrach są brudne toalety, jedna w ogóle nie działa, nie ma mydła ani papieru toaletowego. Przez chwilę jest to lokal gastronomiczny z oceną 4,4 ⭐️ ale tak naprawdę to tylko lokal, w którym kelnerzy zaczynają porządkować sprawy na oczach gości Nigdy więcej nie wrócę i nie polecę tego wątpliwego obiektu moim znajomym.

Ru: Это место очень переоценено, мы пришли компаний из 4 человек, и все выбрали разные блюда и напитки. И ни одному из нас не понравились блюда. Ребра были подгорелые и сухие, Колбаски очень жирные, в масле оба стейка (Миьон и New York) были обычным куском мяса средней прожарки с посредственным соусом Тартар просто безвкусный Пиво неплохое, но коктейль из просекко с ягодами приторно сладкий. Мы отдали больше 500 злотых за ужин, но лучше бы просто сходили в макдональдс.

Кстати на обоих этажах грязные туалеты, один вообще не работает, нет мыла и туалетной бумаги. На минуточку, это общепит с рейтингом 4.4 ⭐️ но по факту это просто заведение где официанты при гостях начинают выяснять отношения Никогда больше не вернусь и не порекомендую это сомнительное заведение знакомым.
