Old Town Premium Apartments Kraków — Hotel in Krakow

WE HAD APARTMENT 23 AT THE 24 AUGUSTIANSKA BUIDLING.||This was a great apartment! It was exactly like the photos so no need to add my own. Everything was in great condition and spotless - not a speck of dust, a single hair or even a fingerprint on the reflective surfaces and appliances! The windows, when closed, kept out all street noise except for the garbage and recycling. Yes, the air conditioning was odd that it was only venting from the foyer, but it wasn't hard to use like others have mentioned (and there are instructions taped right by the controls). It was never really hot so I can't say how well it would work on those days, but with all doors open (bedroom, bathroom and French doors) it kept it cool. I will note that no matter what temp we set it too, though, that it never got cooler than 24.5 C. That's not a problem for us, but if you're the type that likes it really cold then you'll be disappointed, or if you're a group that needs to use the fold-out bed in living room and then close doors for privacy then there would be no air flow. We saw how bright it was in the photos and thought that it was just the pro photos, but there were so many light source and so many combos to use - unlike air conditioning, having a bright property is important. The building was on a quiet side street without tram lines. Many good restaurants are just around the corner (Hello India, Los Gorditos, Akita Ramen). Many other good ones were just down the street or a few streets away. Very close to a tram/bus stop and of course grocers like Zabka and bakeries like Awiteks, Buczek and Lajkonik) - but those are everywhere anyway. We didn't have occasion to stay in the hotel, as due to the pandemic in march last year, our flight was cancelled and poland didn't let any foreign citizen to enter the country. For starters they were nice and offered me a voucher of the full amount which i can use up for 6 months, or refund me the half of the money( and i had to cancel on booking.com) So we chose to go for the voucher. I have asked what is going to happen if the situation is not changing , and we can't use up ? Kasia told me it will be still valid after 6 months. At the end due to lockdowns we couldn't use it . These apartments are in a great location in the Jewish Quarter, with the main square being only about a 15-20 minute walk away. The apartment was clean and well set out but the AC was a but temperamental in the bedrooms. It would have been helpful to have had more pillows and towels available as there was only one per person and no hand towels for the kitchen or bathrooms and no bath mats. There was also very little information in the apartment so we had no idea what was available locally. The staff were friendly and ine spoke exceptional English.
