Read moreI’ve lived next door to here for ages and I love photography so finally I got round to going today. I absolutely loved it! The main exhibit is very much a history of photography and of the chronology of cameras and techniques. Very in-depth. Of course there are also examples as well as lots of exhibits of photographs too.
Right now though there’s also an exhibit of British photographs from 60s-present day. Being born and living in Britain from the early 70s til 99, it brought back so many memories. If you like British culture and music you will absolutely love it. It cost me zł 15 (€3) and I spent almost 2 hours there and could’ve stayed longer. A definite must visit.

This museum is highly concentrating on the technology of cameras but there’s are a few small photograph exhibitions as well as a gallery of camera on the top floor. I felt it could have been a bit more interactive and encouraged visitors to be playful and take photos, utilising objects to change perspectives of your photography, given the nature of the exhibition. This would get people snapping and engaging on social media. The photos I’ve included are more by happenstance than the museum “encouraging” visitors to get creative.
