I arrived in Krakow by train the night before. As I was passing Ka it had just closed. I knew as a fact that I would return here the following day.
I originally came by around 10 AM. To my despair, Ka would not open for another two hours. This was no problem as I passed the time wandering the gorgeous old town of Krakow. Easily one of the most beautiful old towns in Europe. I returned just after noon and was ready to indulge myself.
My first impression was that the restaurant itself was beautifully decorated. I made the easy choice to sit outside, given the sun was shining and the sky was blue.
I went with the lunch option 2 and could not have been happier. It was a varied selection that turned out to be quite satisfying. The sushi was delicious, a great answer to the question: don't you miss eating sushi? I ate the sushi and Kimchi first and finished with the soup. I also really enjoyed the complimentary tea accompanying the meal.

Was here solo on a Saturday, early in the evening. Walked-in, but you might want to book in advance. There were a couple flying insects about, though otherwise clean.
For mains I had their tofu curry with rice. I liked the way the tofu was battered, though hopefully they weren't going for a tempura style as it would have been a little bit too brown. I liked the sauce but there wasn't much of it. Overall it was nice. The portion was on the small side.
I really wasn't a fan of their homemade pineapple drink. First my nose felt attacked by.. something that you'd smell in a dirty toilet, then the pineapple taste felt quite weak, and all so separated from the carbonated water. I reflected this to the server, who said they take a lot of time and effort for the infusion.
Customer service was welcoming and friendly.
There are other interesting items on the menu that I wanted to try. Well be back next year to...
Read moreHumble Japanese vegan restaurant with an uncomplicated design. Very relaxed mood, although we visited around lunch time, I can imagine it’s much busier in the evenings. It’s possible to sit at the counter next to the kitchen, which for me is always a pleasure to observe the preparation of the dishes. The food is honest and simple like all good Japanese cuisine. I tried the Kakiage Udon, which is basically a bowel of Udon noodles in broth accompanied by a fried vegetable tempura cake. The broth tastes deep, salty, whilst the noodles are soft, perfectly cooked and freshly made. I have never been a fan of Udon before, but this time I feel we had a much more sincere encounter. The Tempura is just pure magic and cooked superbly, a lovely addition to the meal. If you’re looking for a light and easy meal, this is the place to try some authentic Japanese...
