Parter ekspozycji rozczarowuje. Stoisz przed gablotą wkurzony i bezsilny.

Słowa poezji mrocznych czasów lepiej docierają do świadomości w budującym nastrój mroku niż w pełnym świetle dnia.

Jakoś to tak "słabo" przemyślane...

Znacznie lepiej prezentują się piwnice. I to tyle na temat AK. Formacja została przedstawiona skromnie. Zbyt skromnie.

I to chyba tyle.

Zastrzeżenia główne dotyczą mrocznych pomieszczeń ekspozycyjnych, multimedialnej biedy i niskiej kreatywności osób decydujących o układzie i prezentacji zbiorów.

;) a fajnie było by kupić sobie w muzeum AK menażkę, albo...

Their permanent exhibition about the Polish resistance/underground is commendable. The guns display on the first floor is also nice but except names, there is no information that could help noobs like me. My best takeaway was the V(rocket) model and associated information. I went to buy the ticket but the lady at the reception notified us that the entry is free on Sundays.

They have a lot of scope for improvement:

Please illuminate the museum. I had a hard time reading most of the artifacts. Some of the V(rocket) information boards were so poorly lit that I had to use my phone's flashlight to read. Add more merchandise to the shop. There were some books in Polish language but they can add more books for tourists, scale models, toys, and so on. Provide audio guides. It's hard to read and remember the poorly lit boards, audio guides can help visitors understand better. Add videos, demos, animations in at least the guns display, and the V(rocket) sections. While my primary interest was WW-II, the term 'Polish Army Museum' is misleading. It talks only about the downfall of the Polish official army in 1939, and the underground movement thereafter but provides no overview of the Polish army...

It was a very interesting experience: lot of tourist buses in the parking lot, but nobody in the museum. I was the only visitor alone. The stuff was so excited, they measure my temperature and almost made a PCR test etc. Finally I can start the exhibition. It's mostly text information (but interesting) with a few pictures. Every room is very dark (specially the basement) and I don't know it was intentionally or they just turn off the lights bc no visitors. I am very interested in the topic, so I enjoyed it. In the basement I lost the preplanned route for a seconds and I saw a dummy in military cloths praying rosario. I thought 'how accurate!', but the dummy stand up and angrily order me to follow the preplanned route. It was not a dummy, but a real person, a security guard. It was my weirdest museum experience since I visit an Irish medieval prison during halloween. I recommend this museum if you really interested in the Polish WW2 history and...

Brilliant museum that talks about the history of the polish army throughout WW2 however I was expecting more information about the army throughout all of its history. The museum is thorough in its description and information of the army during WW2 with great displays and artefacts but it is so poorly lit I regularly had to use my phone torch to see. Definitely needs two to three hours to properly read and appreciate all the information. Most displays had Polish and English translations but some often didn’t. Toilets and gift shop on site, staff at front desk very friendly. Lockers and hooks to leave belongings was very useful. Would recommend for WW2 enthusiasts.
