Good points||The location is excellent, it really is a 10 minute walk from Krakow Glowny which is the main train station in Krakow, you can easily get the train from the airport to here and I also managed to get a train from here to Warsaw during my stay, its really easy to navigate & super close to the apartments. Its also well within walking distance of the Old Town, which is where the best sights are to be found in Krakow, I walked everywhere during my stay as everything was so close. The room itself was really nice, the bathroom in particular was pristine, the shower was great and clean, and the downstairs area of the apartment was nice and spacious, with a decent sized kitchen area. The mattress (and it was just a mattress) was actually really comfortable as well, and even though the apartment was on the ground floor and facing onto the busy main road, it was actually nice and quiet in the evenings so had no trouble going to sleep.||Bad points|| · Checking in. On arrival you have to use a number combination on the outer door which worked fine, but then once inside the building the reception room where you pick up your room key from was locked & nobody was around. I tried banging on the door 4 or 5 times, to the point where I was hammering the door by the end, and nobody appeared. I tried calling the phone number that was on my booking that said "we are available at all times" but nobody answered the first 4 or 5 times, it either just kept ringing or went through to a Polish voicemail. Another couple then arrived and had the exact same problem, after 20 minutes of waiting & a few more attempts of banging on the door, I finally managed to get through to someone on the phone who sounded like I was inconveniencing them by phoning them, they then appeared from an apartment downstairs a few minutes later, with absolutely no apologies or haste I have absolutely no idea how they couldnt have heard me banging on the door, especially when they specifically ask you what time you will be arriving, which I did, and arrived EXACTLY at that time, they still werent ready for me. They finally gave me my key and I could get in. Absolutely abysmal customer service that wasted my trip time. The room has no bed. Its literally just a mattress on the floor. You go up some stairs inside the apartment to a loft section that isnt big enough to even kneel in, and there is just a mattress on the floor up there. The bedsheet that was on the mattress had a hole ripped in it, and the duvet cover they give you doesnt even cover half the bed so you basically have to wrap yourself in it like a sleeping bag to stay warm in the night. The Wi-Fi in the room is extremely sketchy, sometimes it would connect, sometimes it wouldnt. The curtains are paper thin and might as well not be there. Lets all the light in at night, luckily I had an eye mask so sleeping wasnt an issue, but without it I doubt I would have...

Read moreYou can tell there is not much respect for the people booking the place. You feel like a part of some anonymous mass check-in, mass processing. There was nobody there for the check-in without a pre-warning. The according e-mail arrived only a few hours prior to our arrival. You arrive there and find the reception desk is in a dark, empty booth and you feel pretty lost and unwelcome right at your arrival. Unacceptable and poor treatment of costumers. During my whole stay there was nobody to be seen at the reception desk, but the money was immediately taken from my account even before I managed to enter the place. A higher amount was taken from my account than agreed without explanation. The place is not particularly clean, the door handle of the bathroom is so edgy that it cut my skin ( extremely cheap and unprofessional construction), the lights were not working well nor the blinds of the windows (quickly and installed with little care). The noise of the street becomes increasingly loud/noisy from very early on in the morning. The bed was only a mattress on the floor - so close right under the ceiling that not even sitting up was possible. - We are not picky when it comes to accommodation and are well-travelled, but this was unacceptable treatment and letting down of costumers which happens when the host is only interested in money and not at all in the well-being of their guests....
