My fiancé and I went to this restaurant after walking around in Warsaw, it was a coincidence that we found it, but I am so happy that we did, weather was okay so we decided to sit outside. Service was quick and caring. Starter we shared their Burata which was delicious and flavorful. My fiancé ordered the chicken and myself ordered their Argentinian ribeye. Dishes was nicely presented and service and time between dishes was flawless. For my steak I will say this is up with the best ribeyes I have had, it was served with grilled bone also which included a spoon so you could taste the bone marrow also, this was so delicious. Cook on the steak was flawless, grilled vegetables was perfect, mashed potatoes was silky smooth and the peppersauce was probably this best I have had in my life. Same can be said about my fiancé's chicken, she gave me a taste and this chicken was flavourful and juicy. Finally I decided for their strawberry dessert, this tasted so fresh and was served with delious creme in it which was slightly burned to give slight ideas of a creme brulee.
All in all have nothing negative to say about out visit to this fantastic restaurant, I will definetly be back if I am in...
Read moreMy wife and I went to Mokotowska69 on our final evening in Warsaw and opted for the tasting menu (190pp) since all the dishes sounded great. Overall we were satisfied with the quality of the food however we felt that it was cooked in a style which is very ordinary. We understand that quality is very important and we do value this but we had several other meals in Warsaw in the same price bracket which were seriously superior to our meal. If you search around there are some amazing tasting menus in Warsaw. So this did colour our judgement and led to disappointment. A few examples of where things could be improved: the catfish was delicious but served with a very ordinary, plain risotto with leeks, I would probably serve less risotto and innovate a bit, perhaps add some herbs, turmeric, saffron or crisped sage for instance. Also the ice cream was really nice but we asked about it's origin and it was from a local supplier. I would have expected it to be made on the premises since its part of the tasting menu. The duck was excellent but my lamb was not the best cut - it lacked some marbling and therefore did not have that melt in the...
Read moreHave been in Warsaw staying at the Sheridan for a week. We have wandered around trying restaurants for lunch ad dinner and must say, we have not been disappointed. However, this restaurant is the crown jewel of our stay. White tablecloth setting, but with the feel of a neighbourhood eatery. The owner is from Warsaw but spent years in New York and understands how food and people should mix. I cannot say enough good things. This is an adult setting for adult diners, but I’m sure reasonably well behaved children who have visited upscale settings with parents will be very welcome. The lamb is perfect. They also serve USDA prime cuts of beef along with Polish fare that is to die for. If you are in the area for dinner, you MUST try them out. I don’t rave often, I usually simply don’t offer a review. This place is mor than worthy of your interest and investment of time. Lunch for 2 with drinks, less than 100 (at the time, about $27 with tip). Dinner and wine, being reasonable but not cheep, under $100 easily. Your...
