WORTHLESS LISBOA CARD THRU tiqets.com! We exchanged the worthless online Lisboa card with worthless physical card! Very poor customer service and poor attitude at the counter in plaza de commercio! Matching exactly the value of the card! We bought the card online, received a QR code, but that was not enough! You buy it online, but if you don’t have the physical card, then you have nothing!! Like we didn’t pay more that 400 euros for 8 passes! We had to get back to the information office from the castle without beeing able to get in! Of course they were selling the worthless card near the castle, but couldn’t exchange our worthless online cards, so we can get into the castle! If we didn’t buy the card from them and we chose the online one, nothing they could do to help! When we realized how worthless the card is we tried to cancel, but of course is the policy! Can’t get a refund even that we did not used at all the card, cause it’s the policy! Kind of scam policy! Public transportation we did not used at all since bolt is very good price and comfort! We tried to go to Ocenario, but we didn’t read the fine print! I will avoid this worthless city card! We had some other experiences with other city passes before, but this one is really the only...
Read moreI learned through Civitatis that this is the place to pick up a Lisbon Card. The office is extremely crowded with not much crowd control overseeing the line/door. The staff working at the office are efficient, from observation have good command of many languages and will provide good advice on what time duration to purchase based on your stay. We received a paper noting the various attractions the Lisbon card provides access or discounted prices for. I will include a review of the Lisbon card itself. The card is a little bit expensive when you’re purchasing it but if you plan on visiting many places it is definitely worth it. It provides access to over 30 major attractions in Lisbon and all public transport. Quite a few places were closed for renovations while I visited but the card was still worth it if you consider general admission prices and line skipping privileges. Bolt is relatively cheap in Portugal but sometimes during peak hours it is hard to secure a ride and use of public transport is very helpful. The card also allows you to take the train to Sintra if that is also in...
Read moreMy family and I visited Lisbon in February. We made it to the office with just a few minutes to spare before they closed for the evening. We found the staff to be helpful, polite and by the end of the transaction, quite friendly. We stayed long enough to have to go back for a second card and again returned to the same staff member (Beatrice). I really enjoyed chatting with her and all the information she gave us about Lisbon (and Portugal in general) that was more nuanced than what you would find in a tourist brochure. That being said, we probably would not invest in a Lisboa card again when we visit as we really didn't use it enough to get our moneys worth and wouldn't necessarily return to any of the museums or attractions we went to this visit. Keep in mind though that we were traveling with an 8 year old so long lines and wait times are not really our thing so we limited our attraction sites to only one...
