Cervejaria Antártida Lisboa — Restaurant in Lisbon

The waitress was so impatient for our group as we waited 5 min for our last member of our party to arrive. She took the menus from us after we have only been sitting for a few and ordered some appetizers and we began to eat as they arrived. She took our menus and gave them to other guests and just expected us to memorize what was offered. Drink service was slow and portions are absurdly small for the price. Bathrooms are not kept, pee and other body fluids on the floor and no soap or toilet paper available. The price does not justify this sorry excuse for a restaurant, a McDonald’s is cleaner and more consistent. Which says a lot about this establishment.

Had to order drinks 2-3 times from the same waiter before they ever arrived at the table.

Opposite the amazing Can the Can, on the praça do comercio who actually can deliver, this is the worst drinks and food place in Portugal I have visited in 2 years since living here. Drinks were wrong, and the food, garlic prawns, came an hour later offering 7 burnt, small prawns in added oil. The drinks, a tequila sunrise, came as a mimosa (wrong) and two-thirds full. Maybe they sipped it first 🤔. The prawns €16.50 for 7 small over cooked prawns. I refused to try them, sent them back and left. THE WORST dining in Portugal by millions of square kilometers! Giving them 1 finger 👇 because I can't give a zero. Overpriced, lazy, owners who don't care, so don't bother! A thousand better places to dine and drink...

This was easily the worst meal we had in Portugal. The descriptions of the meals did not match what we received. The quality of the food was not the best, for instance, some of the French fries were still frozen inside. We had some other amazing restaurants in Lisbon though. If you want a better restaurant, I would go to either Café do Rio or Crossroad10. I’m disappointed that the last restaurant we ate in Lisbon was the worst and extremely disappointing for the price they charged. The only positive thing I can say about the restaurant is that it’s in the beautiful Praça downtown Comércio. But even with the location, I would never return to...
