From The Vine: Port & Wine Tasting Bar - Port & Wine Tasting In Lisbon — Attraction in Lisbon

There's nothing I enjoy more than hearing someone who is passionate about their craft sharing that passion with others. The experience crafted at From The Vine was more than I could have hoped for, informative, entertaining, and had the atmosphere of a conversation between friends. I honestly could have listened to our host Caio talk about wine for hours, as I heard his passion in every sentence. The wines were great, but I also learned how to get more out of enjoying wine in general, as well as much about the science and origins behind numerous types and regions of wine.

A great experience with friends, partners, or even alone, and I highly recommend you come with questions! If you're interested in more than just drinking wine to get drunk, you will certainly get a lot out of this experience. I will definitely be booking again next time I'm in Lisbon, as the wines are always tailored to the day, the atmosphere, the weather, etc. and you're very likely to have a different but equally amazing experience if you go...

This place is mostly for scheduled wine tastings. As of SEP 2024 the wine tastings are conducted at 13, 16, 18’ish and 1930’ish. A booking is normally required in order to participate. We dropped by without a booking but got an ok to sit in the restaurant by our self and taste wines - as long as we were out by 16 (4PM). Other people came by but were all rejected - even if they ensured they would be out by 16. The bar has a total of 10 wines to taste - one from each district. You can decide how many - and which ones you want to taste. Or you can let the host decide. We tasted 4 wines each but chose some different ones and ended tasting 6 of the 10 wines. The introduction of the wine was short and focused on which region - not much on production methods, soil, climate etc. the wines were ok, and I believe it is fairly priced. We had a real good time but could have used some more information - without the information we might as well have stayed home and drank some wines. But try it out if...

Ok had an amazing and unforgettable culinary and dining experience in this lovely restaurant.The service was professional and very fast and the waiting staff made sure that you were satisfied with your order.The ambience is welcoming and cosy very relaxing. The wine tasting was very enjoyable and we managed to taste 6 wines from around Portugal.The sommeliers were very knowledgeable about these wines and they told us the exact reason in Portugal where the wine came from.its age and even the vineyard where the grapes where harvested to make that particular wine. I also enjoyed the charcuterie board what with all that sliced cold meat it was so lovely.This restaurant is definitely a go to for any wine lovers..It was really a highly culinary and educational experience in one will make to go back again at the smallest...
