Turim Restauradores Hotel — Hotel in Lisbon

We stayed here for 4 nights at the beginning of October. The location is great, the front desk staff are very helpful and the breakfast is more than adequate - hot food, cheese, ham, fruit etc plus the most amazing choice of cakes and pastries!!|The room we had was a pleasant surprise after reading some of the previous reviews here. It's an old hotel that in general looks a little sad, the hallways and rooms could def use a coat of bright new paint (currently dark yellow walls and brown paintwork makes everything look old and tired). But everything in the room was fine - the beds were comfortable, there was enough shelf space to put 2 small suitcases, there is a small wardrobe with only 5 hangers so bring your own travel hangers if you need more. The tv on the wall is about the size of a postage stamp lol. The bathroom was a good size with a bath and shower attachment, pressure was good. Our room overlooked a residential apartment block so we had to keep the curtains closed all the time which added to the general dullness of the room. If you need somewhere close to Rossio Square (and all the restaurants etc) this will work for you. If you are looking for somewhere you could hang out during the day this probably isn't for you as the room ambience...

Location is central. That’s the only positive thing. The hotel is old and needs to be renovated, our room was crooked and really pending on a side. There was a bad smell coming from the toilet. Also the corridor/stairs area was very very old. The shower in our room was broken and doors and windows frames ruined by humidity. Fridge was empty (not even water was provided). The staff wasn’t good either. I asked if they had a bandaid and the girl at the reception just replied with a strong “NO”, I find it very weird that they do not have bandaids as every structure should have first aid kit. Also one evening I asked for a bottle of shampoo because it was finished and I needed to shower and the same girl replied “do you need it now? Because i was just going to smoke”, and yes i needed it immediately but i had to wait for her to finish her sigarette… That’s so unprofessional!!!! You can find cheaper and better places to stay in Lisbon, I would not recommend this one. Too expensive for...

I have been staying with you from the 1st August to the 5th of August. I would like to leave an outstanding review with you.

This is my first trip to Lisbon, felt like coming home. Thank you so much for the incredible experience at the hotel. The service was absolutely outstanding from start to finish, and the staff are so friendly and my room was tidy/spotless.

Teressa and Edgar, in particular, were amazing and so much fun to talk to. They made me feel so welcome and their recommendations were spot on. There's soo much to see and do throughout the city and also outside of the city, simply 5 days were not enough..

I'll especially miss Teressa's expertly made Espresso Martini - it was the perfect end to each day. I can't wait to come back and visit again!
