Trombeta is clean, modern, and well-equipped, with a decent range of facilities like a bar, filtered water, and plenty of lockers. The staff are attentive and keep the place in good condition, but there are a few things that could be improved. Pros: * Plenty of lockers, each with a built-in light, which makes it easy to check your belongings. * Staff are on top of cleanliness. Once, I noticed a strong urine smell in the darkroom, and within 10 minutes, they shut the session down to clean it for 15 minutes—kudos to them! (Though honestly, anyone who thinks it’s okay to pee there should be ashamed.) * Slippers are provided. * There’s a bar and filtered water available for drinks. * The cubicles have mirror-like panels, which look great and give a spacious feel. Cons: * No lube in the darkroom, which is a basic necessity. * The video room is too bright and could use softer lighting. * Lockers have no hangers and no separate space for shoes. * The mirror panels in the cubicles have sharp edges—I accidentally cut my toe on one and bleed quite badly. * Entry is a bit pricey at €21. * On one Saturday afternoon visit, some younger guys seemed high inside the cubicles and darkrooms, which was uncomfortable to us.

I recommend staying away from here especially if you have a decent bathhouse locally/ you’re just visiting Lisbon. This place is very underwhelming and way too dark. Take a trip to the gay beach and spend your money elsewhere! Also the employee at the door on July 7 @ 1am needs to learn some ✨communication✨ trying to EXIT the building the guy aggressively shut the door in my face and made me wait to leave for seemingly no reason. There is no reason to not be kind to people, and in most circumstances I can’t imagine why it would be ok to not let people leave freely.

The underground is very large, divided into dark maze area, room area, steam room, dray sauna, bath area, massage area, and vending machines to sell some products. I especially like the jacuzzi which is very comfortable, and the masseur is in good body. If you can't find some fun, u can consider getting a massage.

Hi trombeta bath:

I know the all the spent we made after the entrance would be paid in the front desk to avoid any human intervention.

On the 19th June, my locker number was 009, and I reserved Hoomann as my massage therapist for 1 hour at 8:30 pm.

I was arrived around 19:30.

At the end, I extended 2 times of half an hour. I just didn’t notice that I should go up and pay immediately after walk out from the massage room.

I just seated and took my sandwich and 7 up back, because I was starving after 2 hours of massage.

Hoomann walked back and told me:「 hey Casper, why you still here you should go upstairs and pay, otherwise my boss would kill me.」

I was like, oh sorry, I would love to pay. But you don’t have to say that. I could not even remember that he noticed me when I told him I’d like to extend.

Or anyone should aware it at first?

If it was, may your front desk/bar staff/massage therapist would reminder their customer friendly not like to emotional blackmail somebody else.

I just said sorry that I didn’t not aware of it to Hoomann.

After I paid that extended fee, I don’t feel great anymore. It should be greater when I was fully enjoy in his massage. And his skilled was great and I told hime multiple times.

I knew there’s rule. And anyone of you were afraid of us just skip or deny the cost.

But I thought it was not an appropriate way that any staff of your Sauna should talk to their customers like that.

Maybe the way Hooman ‘s talk, he might just want to make the thing go smoothie. But I don’t feel that way.

It’s kind of pity. That was my last day in your fabulous city.

Anything was involved by human is just that unpredictable, right?

But your place is better than anywhere I went before, including Taiwan’s sauna.

Plus, the front desk could show customer the print of every single rule when they arrived to pay the entrance fee.

Not depend on talk with.

Including the customer should hand their reservation sheets to the bar gently.

I was reminder I should hand the reservation sheets to the bar. But I just took shower and I don’t think it’s that matter. Because I remembered that time I reserved.

People are easily forget something your staff may think your customers would have to keep in mind.

I’ve notice your management level would respond to the Google reviews of trombeta bath.

Hope this letter finds this sauna’s management's level well.

And all I want just nothing but sharing my own experience that just happened.

6/17 number 006

6/18 forgot the locker number but I reserved the one hour massage plan with Hoomann around 1930 or 2000 as well.

6/19 number 009

And plus, on 6/19, because I have like an hour time free before the reservation, so I thought it was not that matter I should handed the reservation sheets first.

But it just like 10 mins after I walked down to the locker and shower room.

However, staff who assisted me to reserve in the front desk just make me feel like that I didn’t obey his commands. Like parent fault to their kids. Due to some of your policy i thought.

The best sauna of its kind in Europe and UK. It was Saturday night 11:59pm. I’m a well-travelled Asian.

I was blown away from the beginning till the end. It started with the security ensuring smooth flow of entry, the impeccably friendly staff with the most hospitable service making you feel so welcome (you get a towel and slippers of your feet size), the locker size, the neatness of the place, the spacious and ergonomic design of the shower area (not shower from top, but 90 degree angle keeping your hair dry if you prefer to), the toilet is probably the most mind blowing part as there is a bidet hose in every cubicle with sitting down AND squatting toilet for proper cleaning. You tend to find this feature in most good Asian saunas, but to find it in Europe is just mind bogglingly rare (the irony of saunas of its kind).

There is a water fountain for you to keep hydrated throughout your stay AND a bar with light bites, wine, beer, and hot drinks. There is a smoking room with “movies” playing and acts as a social space to sit, unwind and chat. A jacuzzi and sauna (both I didn’t use), a sling, spacious labyrinth and private cubicles with well thought design to ensure you have a good time without ending up in an awkward position. Plenty of good-looking patrons and it got more as the night progresses. There are video cleaning supplies sold (if I remember) and others garments and toys too.

I have nothing bad to say about my experience as it is probably the best if not one of the best sauna experiences I’ve had. €20 entry for people above 36 years old without ID. One of my highlights of Lisboa visit. Truly. Thank you.

P/s: I think part of my positive experience is due to my awareness of the negative and critical reviews making me extra cautious and critical of how I experience it. Turns out, this is how I feel...

Waited 40 minutes to get inside on a Sunday afternoon. First sauna I have ever visited with a queue which I thought was a good sign but it was very overcrowded.

Bag searches at the door which was kind of useless. Very open drug use inside and around the private cabins. I would see guys openly inhale drugs off their keys in the corridors. I spent a couple hours inside, whenever I found a guy and wanted to have fun all the private cabins were always occupied.

Groups of guys would hang out in the cabins not having fun but taking drugs openly and talking loudly. They would use them as club houses for their friends who would knock on the doors and shout. Not a lot of courtesy for anyone wanting to use a room to have sex. Because they were using drugs they would not move to the common bar area. The only private areas you could go were the locked dark rooms which weren’t ideal if you wanted to have a more intimate moment with someone with some light and dark rooms aren’t your thing.

It was clean and they would close areas off regularly to clean.

The lack of security checks and checking for drugs was disappointing. You can access your bag at anytime unlike other saunas. I have been to a few different saunas around Europe but this one is a circuit party hybrid sauna with beautiful men but no where to enjoy yourself when you are with one.

Please change your ways of working as this sauna was very...
