The Bica Funicular is a must-do experience when visiting Lisbon. This historic funicular railway takes you on a scenic journey up a steep hill, offering breathtaking views of the city and the Tagus River.

As you ride, you'll notice the charming, colorful houses lining the streets and the vibrant atmosphere created by the constant stream of tourists snapping photos. The journey takes only a few minutes, but it's a delightful way to experience the city's unique character.

If you're feeling adventurous, you can also walk up the hill on foot. It's a bit of a climb, but it's a great way to get some exercise and enjoy the scenery at your own pace.

Tip: The Bica Funicular is located about a 15-minute walk from Cais do Sodré station, so plan your visit...

It's better to take the tram bottom up as it's starting from within the building and with day ticket loaded on the viva there is no additional cost. Don't aim for the last departure as at 21 there are only...
