Amazing boutique hotel up to American 5+ star standards. This was my first time in Lisbon and I fell in love with this vibrant cosmopolitan city in great part because of this hotel and staff. They make sure to cater to your every need, it’s all in the details. And don’t let the name boutique throw you off, this hotel has all the amenities, if not more, than any big name brand out there in the world. I have stayed here with my mom, who doesn’t like to stay in hotels (she prefers Airbnb) and even she was highly impressed. The free breakfast with the best eggs Benedict and the gorgeous view to the Tejo river. The customer service is the best I have ever revived in all of my worldly travels, from bellboys Andre and Miguel, to the 24/7 alert concierges Joana, Priscila and Nuno. I’m sorry if I am forgetting anyone! But all of you know who you are and know why I will return (hopefully) soon to this amazing city in great part because of the excellent treatment I’ve received from you in this hotel. The only think I regret is not having enough time to use the gym and the sauna! But hopefully next time!! Basically this hotel checked all the boxes for me and more: elevators, nice nee smell, comfy bed and pillows, nice hot shower with plenty of pressure, and big bath tub. Awesome views, perfect location (walk or short Uber to everywhere!), brand new renovated everything and did I mention the customer service? Flawless. Thank you Bairro Alto hotel and staff! I can’t wait to return here with my husband!

Our recent stay at Bairro Alto Hotel provided us with a mix of experiences, both delightful and average. While the rooms leaned towards the older side and small size, the provided toiletries were of excellent quality, adding a touch of luxury to our stay. Upon check-in, we found the service to be satisfactory, though not exceptional. However, our experience improved during check-out, where we encountered a more pleasant interaction. The highlight of our stay was undeniably the delightful breakfast served on the terrace. The food was delicious and the waitresses went above and beyond with their warm and friendly service. Additionally, we were touched by the thoughtful gesture for our wedding anniversary left in our room. It truly added a special touch to our stay. Thank you, Bairro Alto Hotel! The hotel's location is convenient has access to the best that Lisbon has to offer.

This really is a lovely, comfortable, charming boutique hotel. It is centrally located with many public transit options right outside the door. The rooms are of course not huge but they are very comfortable and include everything you need. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful! There are wonderful views from the Terrace and Rooftop cafe/restaurants! They serve an excellent breakfast. And the in-house pastry shoppe is WONDERFUL. (of particular interest for fellow American coffee lovers, they know how to make a terrific iced coffee!) I won't say their pastries are better than what you'll find outside but they are at least as good! Mmmm There are sites to see in all directions by either a (often hilly) walk, or a tram ride or open air cab ride. Obviously, this is not a bargain choice but if you want and can splurge, this hotel is worth it! I hope I can return soon.

What makes a beautiful hotel great ? The answer is simple : the fabulous team & the Bairro Alto hotel is a good example of perfect hospitality where the design -meets - the impeccable service . | I could simply write a love letter instead of a review. Wow ! Congratulations to the extremely hands on general manager Graziela Vieira Rocha and her team for the impressive passion for hospitality and attention to details . | Located in Lisbon’s historic Luis de Camões Square the bustling Bairro Alto hood is on your doorstep . | It’s not our first time at this gorgeous place designed by Eduardo Souto de Moura but it was certainly the best . One of those hotels that managed to keep more & more personal without being intrusive. Perfection. | The fabulous doorman set the tone and the welcome from the guest relations team ( Lurdes & Tatiana ) makes you immediately fell at home . The GM herself greets her LHW Aurelian Member with class and know how of an excellent hotelier. | The suites are simple gorgeous: stylish , chic but also pays homage to the local Portuguese artisans as they are filled with ceramics and textiles that gives a true sense of place . | The gourmet restaurant is stunning - not to mention the sun kissed rooftop terrace . | Breakfast was served with smiles and professionalism by Francisco - freshness , high quality and great execution of every dish shines through. | Rubens - the restaurant manager is always available for any special request . The head sommelier is extremely knowledgeable and the celebrated Portuguese chef Nuno Mendes are on top of his game on all food outlets . From the pastelaria to main dinning room . | If you’re a negroni lover you must ask for Bruno ‘s special creations . Passion & talent , what a memorable sunset .| The hotel managed to surprise us in a very special way . Thank you Pedro for the organising the fabulous live violin session in the suite . | Fresh flowers , beautiful amenities, daily surprises made this stay extraordinary. But the most important is the incredible team work from all members of the Bairro Alto Hotel family .| I can’t wait to see you very soon ....

Our last day in Lisbon, and I decided to have breakfast at the hotel. On all my trips, i always choose one hotel to have breakfast at. We were not staying at this hotel but I had read about the restaurant on the 5th floor with the outdoor terrace.

The view from the terrace is lovely and the staff are attentive and friendly.

My husband ordered the overnight oats which he said were good. Although, he did say he was 66disappointed in the portion size, in comparison to other breakfast places we had eaten in Lisbon.

I ordered the Turkish eggs and when taking my order the staff member did ask how I would like my eggs. I replied medium. The eggs were perfect, my only criticism is that the eggs are served with 2 tiny pieces of delicious bread. I would have liked to have seen at least 4 pieces to balance out the dish.

I then ordered the granola yogurt with red berries. Overall, good quality yogurt and granola but the presentation of this dish needs improving and maybe slightly more granola and berries. The granola itself was a good texture and not so sweet or artifical tasting.

A nice way to end our trip in Lisbon chilling and having breakfast with a view. Whether it's value for money is subjective. The cost...
