Read moreAmazing boutique hotel up to American 5+ star standards. This was my first time in Lisbon and I fell in love with this vibrant cosmopolitan city in great part because of this hotel and staff. They make sure to cater to your every need, it’s all in the details. And don’t let the name boutique throw you off, this hotel has all the amenities, if not more, than any big name brand out there in the world. I have stayed here with my mom, who doesn’t like to stay in hotels (she prefers Airbnb) and even she was highly impressed. The free breakfast with the best eggs Benedict and the gorgeous view to the Tejo river. The customer service is the best I have ever revived in all of my worldly travels, from bellboys Andre and Miguel, to the 24/7 alert concierges Joana, Priscila and Nuno. I’m sorry if I am forgetting anyone! But all of you know who you are and know why I will return (hopefully) soon to this amazing city in great part because of the excellent treatment I’ve received from you in this hotel. The only think I regret is not having enough time to use the gym and the sauna! But hopefully next time!! Basically this hotel checked all the boxes for me and more: elevators, nice nee smell, comfy bed and pillows, nice hot shower with plenty of pressure, and big bath tub. Awesome views, perfect location (walk or short Uber to everywhere!), brand new renovated everything and did I mention the customer service? Flawless. Thank you Bairro Alto hotel and staff! I can’t wait to return here...
Read moreOur last day in Lisbon, and I decided to have breakfast at the hotel. On all my trips, i always choose one hotel to have breakfast at. We were not staying at this hotel but I had read about the restaurant on the 5th floor with the outdoor terrace.
The view from the terrace is lovely and the staff are attentive and friendly.
My husband ordered the overnight oats which he said were good. Although, he did say he was 66disappointed in the portion size, in comparison to other breakfast places we had eaten in Lisbon.
I ordered the Turkish eggs and when taking my order the staff member did ask how I would like my eggs. I replied medium. The eggs were perfect, my only criticism is that the eggs are served with 2 tiny pieces of delicious bread. I would have liked to have seen at least 4 pieces to balance out the dish.
I then ordered the granola yogurt with red berries. Overall, good quality yogurt and granola but the presentation of this dish needs improving and maybe slightly more granola and berries. The granola itself was a good texture and not so sweet or artifical tasting.
A nice way to end our trip in Lisbon chilling and having breakfast with a view. Whether it's value for money is subjective. The cost...
