Breakfast - Wasn't ready on time 50% of the time. Once we waited over 10 minutes because they probably got up late and didn't prepare the breakfast in time. - Same Thing every day. - Quality of the breakfast varied very much, depending in who prepared it. Staff - Untrained and very young, because they all seemed to be backpackers that work there in return for staying there for free. - Some didn't speak english. Room - We didn't get the room we payed for, but couldn't Switch because all the rooms were taken. - There was NOTHING to put our stuff (clothes etc.), so we had to keep all our stuff in our bags. There was a bed and a chair and two coat hangers, nothing more. - You can hear everything, especially from the room above. Whenever they moved, it sounded like they we're in our room, because the floor was making noises on every move. Also you can hear people talking in the whole house. - All the doors have huge gaps. Hygiene - The bed sheets had stains on it. - The floor in the rooms seemed dirty. - Please check my video from the bathroom, but be warned! There were insects everywhere and the ceiling of the bathroom was covered in mold. - The warm water stops working after about 5 minutes of showering. Then you will be left with only cold water. - The towels will not be changed. We stayed for a whole week and asked for new towels after 5 days, and they said no. Location - Not accessible by car and there is no possibility to park anywhere even remotely close. - It's REALLY loud at night, because there are bars and clubs everywhere.

Alright, I'll try to keep this short. Location: close to everything but -extremely- loud on the 1st floor, be aware Rooms: cute, clean, but no desk or dresser. just 2 chairs to hang stuff or put stuff on Bathrooms: shared but private. Always spotless Breakfast: Wifi: pretty much useless Staff: absolutely spectacular in every possible way Great if you're passing through for a couple days. I stayed a week and also work remotely (only a few hours a week), so the lack of desk and near useless wifi were rough. Still, the staff was so excellent I couldn't dare give this place less than 5 stars.

Very nice staff and breakfast. The rooms have some problems but the location is unbeatable. FYI, there is no shampoo/conditioner but there is bodywash. They give you a full body towel. Bring your own lock for the locker. The staff is very friendly and cook a great breakfast every morning till 11 am. The streets get very noisy on the weekends and it's hard to sleep, be prepared to bring earplugs. Don't forget slippers because the floor is very cold. The entrance is hard to find because there is no sign on the door. In general I recommend it as long as you know what you're coming to.

The actual guesthouse itself is not the problem, as it is nice. The core issue is the disorganization and chaos that ensured once I arrived that lasted literally the entire time. ||||I specifically stated the time I was coming, what I needed (wifi to work) and once I arrived, there was NO ONE to answer the front door, so I was forced to wait outside for nearly half an hour alternating between calling the contact number that was never answered and ringing the front door, which was also never answered. ||||Eventually, someone that lives in the building came out, and I walked in. When I reached the front door of the guesthouse, I found the door wide open, yet NO ONE was inside. ||||Unsure of what to do, I placed my bags in the living room and area and waited. ||||And waited.||||And waited. ||||A few hours later, I still had NO wifi, no one was answering my phone calls, and there was still no one inside the facility. ||||Finally, I contacted Booking.com and the owner/manager answered me, apologizing for everything. But I still did not have the wifi and since by the time I ensured that I could leave and return with the door key, everything nearby to buy food was closed. ||||Then, other guests arrived after me and had even worse fates. ||||One had stopped by in the early afternoon, and when no one answered, he left and came back late in the evening. He had flown all the way from SOUTH KOREA and had to walk around with his bags until late in the evening. ||||Then, another guest, from France arrived, and just as I experienced, the room arrangements were incorrect, so we improvised between us. ||||||Now, I was offered a full refund, which they basically had no choice but to give me considering how inept they were in checking me in and leaving me outside on a very busy and darkly lit street that resembled an alley. ||||Later, I found out fro other guests that had been here for a few days that it was just more of the same, proving my case that the place is just terribly run. ||||Now, beause I could not leave a review on Booking.com because that's where I booked it and cancelled, I made it a point to leave one here so that people coming here in the future know to avoid this place. ||||The staff I encountered was fine, and it was not their fault. It starts from the top and if the management doesn't have the proficiency to take care of the basic needs of their guests, then they really should NOT be...

So we arrived early afternoon and check in was easy. We were given the keys to our room and a quick tour. Our room 103, was clean. We chucked our cases in and decided to go for a walk about. The hostel was within walking distance of a couple of attractions, which was great. We arrived back to our room around 10.30pm and there were a few people in the street outside our hostel. Didn't really think anything of it until we got woken up pretty much every hour from 12.30 but the highlight was at 2.30am, when the pumping music and the fact that our window was only about 10 feet from around a hundred people!! The sea of people went on for ever! Don't get me wrong we are not party poopers and the crowds were well behaved (no trouble or fights) but when booking the hostel it was not made clear that this was an average weekend and that it was one of the busiest street for nightlife in the area. The music was so loud that it was making the bed vibrant! It finished around 4am but the damage had already been done. Needless to say that we were quite jaded in the morning, breakfast is a nice idea but it was quite a faff for the staff member on duty and we ended up waiting for around 40 minutes. I had a quiet word with the member of staff once most of the breakfasts had been served as I did not want to cause her more stress. She was apologetic and said she would pass my complaint on to the manager. I asked for a partial refund as we paid around £80 for this room, which was too much for what we got or didn't get in this case. She said that it would be the owner that needed to do this. I wrote to the owner and had given enough time for a reply, needless to say I'm still waiting.|So in a nutshell - room and bathroom were clean, breakfast was ok but long wait, staff were pleasant. Do not stay here at a weekend if you value your sleep.|Thankfully, we were only staying the one night!||The photo was taken about 1am, before the night was in full swing. It was double...
