Belhambar Qatar — Attraction in Doha

One of the Best Spots to Enjoy Doha’s Skyline with Traditional Qatari Food.

This restaurant offers amazing views of Doha’s skyline and serves authentic Qatari cuisine. As soon as you step inside, it feels like you’ve gone back in time, the place is filled with retro decorations and old style paintings. There are also rare vintage items like old juice machines and sewing machines that are so unique, you’ll want to film them! The glass walled interior lets you enjoy the city view to the fullest.

At the entrance, I was guided to a table upstairs but I asked if I could sit on the ground floor instead. Mr. Krishna kindly took the time to move me downstairs. I really appreciated his professional and kind service. I personally prefer the ground floor since it has more of a traditional Qatari atmosphere. They also have private rooms but you’ll need to make a reservation for those.

For the main dish, I ordered Shish Tawouk. It came with rice and the bread was also really tasty. The red tea was served in a traditional Qatari style kettle which added a nice cultural touch.

Even the QR code for the menu was shaped like a falcon wearing a hood. It’s creative detail that reflects Qatari culture.

There are plenty of Arabic restaurants in Qatar but not many that focus specifically on traditional Qatari dishes. I really hope more places like this will pop up in the future.

Very disappointing and unwelcoming experience! The staff, especially the Arabic lady at the reception, was extremely rude. We were just at the nearby park and decided to grab a cup of coffee this was the only restaurant around, so we went in. Instead of welcoming us as customers, the lady stopped us right at the reception area and treated us like we didn’t belong there.

We came simply to enjoy a coffee, not to be judged or disrespected. I’ve dined in many restaurants across the country from small cafés to high-end places and I have never experienced such unprofessional behavior. This was by far the worst customer service I’ve encountered.

They’re lucky I really needed that coffee, otherwise, I wouldn’t have bothered...

A restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere for indoor or outdoor seating. The interior decoration of the restaurant gives a feeling of luxury and comfort, and the outdoor seating also gives the same feeling of luxury and enjoyment due to the restaurant’s wonderful location overlooking the Doha Corniche.
