My hotel stay at Souq Wafiq was absolutely incredible, and it wouldn't have been the same without the amazing service provided by Ansar! From the moment I arrived, he went above and beyond to make sure my experience was exceptional. Ansar's attention to detail, warm hospitality, and genuine care for guests truly stood out. He anticipated my needs, offered great recommendations, and made me feel incredibly welcome throughout my stay. I stayed at Al Mirqab in September 2025 and Arumaila (currently closed for renovations) in November 2023 - both hotels had friendly welcoming staff, most recently thanks to Shahin at Al Mirqab. Both hotels are in perfect location for walking in and around the many interesting areas of Souq Waqif and then over to Al Corniche and Museum of Islamic Art. Souq Waqif Metro station just outside the door of Al Mirqab and only 5 minutes walk from Arumaila - or the hotel golf buggies are always available. Clean comfortable quiet rooms. Delicious buffet breakfast and great service at Al Bidda - food choices are excellent, 10/10. The outdoor pool at Al Mirqab is a nice calm place to cool...

My first impression when I got to the hotel was good. The place looked very clean and the rooms were spacious and modern. This is where the good things about this hotel ends. The reasons why I disliked it are listed below

1- No hot water in the bathrooms, I hate taking cold showers early in the morning before going out for work. 2- Breakfast was pathetic and very over priced. Can you believe it there were no eggs or any meat for breakfast!!! There was a mix of fruits, breads and hommus. They were charging QAR 79.00 for this. 3- The Wifi internet is slow, youtube was barely useable.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, when there are many other better...
