Bird Souq — Local services in Doha

I’ve seen on two separate occasions & 2 different households two fine & healthy looking birds bought from here suddenly dropping dead without giving the families time to be in touch with an avian vet. Maybe your heart at the right place & you wish to give a good home to one of the these critters, there is a high chance they’ll sale you an already ill bird/animal who has only days left ahead & you’ll end up heartbroken with a bit of guilt. I personally don’t recommend, but if you do get a pet from here - exercise caution & make an immediate appointment with a vet for a health checkup, quarantine or separate them from other pets if your have any & maintain hygiene while cleaning their droppings to protect...

One of the best place to buy pets especially different types of Birds.... There are few shops which are selling Rabbits, Bunnies, Fishes, sparrows, cokatoos, Parrots, Turtles turtle 🐢 Dogs 🐕 and Cats 🐈🐱... Many pet supplies shops are there.. where you can buy pet food, leeches, ornaments, Fish tanks, cages... Etc... you can bargain and buy birds and bunnies but Dogs and cats are too expensive... Many restaurants to eats... Few household item shops... Few toy shops are in place... You can spend easily 5-6 hours roaming around... Outside few Pony's and Camels are there to...

Didn't think I would see pet shops in doha amid this scorching heat... but here you go a well maintained pet shops in souq is all u need to make you more energetic if you love pets... we can see all kinds of pets like dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, fish, turtles and so on... but have to feel for them when the humidity is high during...
