Perched atop the Souq Waqif Al Jomrok – Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels on the 2nd floor, this spot offers more than just food - it’s a sensory escape.
Food & Flavors The mixed grill for two is a showstopper—succulent lamb chops, juicy shish taouk, and perfectly spiced kofta, all grilled to smoky perfection. Their hummus trio (classic, smoked, and roasted) is creamy, rich, and served with warm, freshly baked bread. Loaded fries are a must try. It's fresh fries loaded with pulled Lamb and cheese. Awesome!!!! For dessert, the Khanfaroush Dome with rose ice cream is a poetic finish.

Shisha & Sips Signature shisha flavors are available, and the Watermelon Nojito mocktail is a refreshing companion to your meal. You gotta try the Al Shurfa exclusive smoothie with figs, dates, and nuts. Excellent. We got seconds. Their tea selection includes everything from Moroccan mint to Karak, served with flair.

It was a beautiful setting, and I'm sure if you were just there for the shisha or maybe an appetizer, it would be fine. However, we arrived at 12:30 (one of the only 2 tables) and ordered the business lunch about 10 minutes later. We then didn't receive the appetizers or drinks (a tea and diet coke) until 40 minutes after we'd arrived, and it took about 20 more for the mains to arrive (chicken dishes). The appetizers were nice (hummus and tabbouleh) but the chicken was dry and tasted burnt, and the garlic sauce that went with it was bitter. We then had to ask (after another half hour) for our plates to be cleared, and to get dessert and the bill. Overall, although the view and starters were nice, I wouldn't recommend going here for business lunch as the service was very slow and the food just...
