Зимняя канавка — канал в Центральном районе Санкт-Петербурга, соединяющий Неву и Мойку в районе Зимнего дворца.

Длина: 228 метров (один из самых коротких в городе каналов). Ширина: около 20 метров. Глубина: до 2 метров.

Через Зимнюю канавку перекинуто три моста.

Первый Зимний и Эрмитажный мосты — построены в XVIII веке, Эрмитажный мост стал первым каменным мостом в Петербурге.

Второй Зимний мост — сооружён в 1960-х годах, но полностью соответствует старинному стилю.

Арка-галерея, которая соединяет здания Старого Эрмитажа и Эрмитажного театра, перекинута через Зимнюю канавку.

Интересный факт: один из драматичных моментов из оперы «Пиковая дама» связан с Зимней канавкой. В финале Лиза прыгает в воду с Эрмитажного моста.
