Museum of Archeology of Moscow — Attraction in Tverskoy District

El mes pasado traté de visitar este museo y no me dejaron entrar porque no tenía código QR. Cuando les enseñé mi certificado de vacunación con la Sputnik-V me dijeron que no sirve porque solo aceptan códigos QR. Cuando les expliqué que no tengo uno porque a los extranjeros no nos lo dan igualmente me negaron la entrada… Me parece que, en pleno siglo XXI, estos casos de racismo no deberían existir.

Además, el personal en todo momento fue maleducado conmigo. Por cierto, dejaron entrar a una mujer que mostró una fotografía de su pasaporte, y no el documento original. ¿Por qué para unos las normas se aplican estrictamente y para otros se hace la vista gorda? ¡Simplemente vergonzoso! Espero que la administración del museo tome cartas en el asunto y vigile qué tipo de personal contrata, deja en muy mal lugar la ciudad de Moscú.

Por cierto, cuando pedí el libro de reclamaciones me dijeron que no tenían. ¿Es esto realmente legal?

Last month I tried to visit this museum and they wouldn't let me in because I didn't have a QR code. When I showed them my Sputnik-V vaccination certificate, they told me that it doesn't work because they only accept QR codes. When I explained to them that I don't have one because they don't give it to foreigners, they still denied me entry... It seems to me that, in the 21st century, these cases of racism shouldn't exist.

Why are the rules strictly enforced for some and a blind eye for others? Simply embarrassing! I hope that the museum administration takes action on the matter and monitors what kind of staff it hires, it leaves the city of Moscow in a very bad place.

By the way, when I asked for the complaints book they told me they didn't have any. Is this really legal?

В прошлом месяце я пытался посетить этот музей, но меня не пустили, потому что у меня не было QR-кода. Когда я показал им свой сертификат о вакцинации Sputnik-V, они сказали мне, что он не работает, потому что они принимают только QR-коды. Nice for the size, and it's great that the signs are also available in English. I visited while Moscow Day so the entrance was for free. Down side, even though the items are properly labeled as what they are, there is no logic in the sorting, not context of time, not explanations of how they were found, or used, nothing. In Russian also the labels was the same, so no...

Interesting for those who loves history. I was impressed by some items which are 3000 years old! Ancient people were so clever to invent all those things for survival although they didn't have all the knowledge we have now.
