Mossel Bay Boat Adventures — Attraction in George

Arrived at 10am only to be allowed to booked at 5pm. Understanding that this uncle needs to fill the ride. So we go by their times only to wait the whole day staying in the area to be called and asked to rebook on Friday thus being today Wednesday?! We asked to be refunded. Inappropriate comment was made and said "If you take your tops off I'll let you ride today".Refund was denied and they took us on the tube. Tube ride was 2 mins long ride being advertised as 15min. I do not trust or recommend these people. Really wasn't a good experience. Rather support the raptor wave rider next door. They've got spirit, friendly staff and you get your money's worth....

So, the guys running this have this cool trick, where you pay almost R2000 for 2 people, in advance, no guarantee. Then, when they postpone 3 times due to weather, and you stay is almost over and you need to ask for your money back, they simply just refuse. They say its not their fault about the weather (which I agree with) but then why not let the people pay once you are ABLE to go out?

Pretty sure they would of caught quite a few foreigners that way, but having a strong legal understanding, I got my refund back with some fight.

The excursion is great, just be wary of the payment arrangement, they will keep your money if you dont stand...

Had a really bad experience on the Fat Boys Blob, staff very unattentive making it a dangerous experience. A child got stuck on the side and called for help, but no staff were at hand to assist. Staff proceeded to defend their lack of safety measures on the child going down the wrong side. Things happen, chlidren don't always listen, but dangerous attractions should have properly trained staff that can assist in any circumstance. Please train your staff and employ enough staff before a child drowns on your watch. And treat paying customers that got a fright...
