This once beautiful historical town has so much potential as a tourist destination but is in dire need of a complete realignment strategically. As we watch the sight of the cruse liners visiting our town - tourists disembarking to come into town I just wonder, what is the sense of it all. The town is simply not geared and equipped to be called a tourist town. We live above Goodwood Bikers Race Way (formerly March Street) and fear for our lives when we have to go to town to cross the street. No pedestrian walk ways to cross the street- scared just now to see a biker doing at least 100kmph in the old March Street.
No traffic police in sight- no law enforcement non.
So my realignment suggested focus is" Lets make it a proper common town for Bikers Tourism only" shift the focus to attract only bikers - Goodwood Bikers Race Way - should be there for the excusive use of bikers only.
(Scrap the existing provision traffic laws because they are not being enforced)
