My recent visit to Mozambik Mossel Bay, nestled at the harbor on Quay 4, provided a delightful dining experience overlooking the serene sea. Accessibility was commendable, with wheelchair parking conveniently located at the entrance, although access to the first-floor entrance required navigating stairs. Despite the bustling atmosphere, our reserved table for a social club meeting awaited us. I opted for the chicken skewers with a side salad, and I was thoroughly impressed. The dishes were impeccably prepared, boasting an appetizing presentation that heightened anticipation. The taste surpassed expectations, with flavors that danced on the palate, elevating the dining experience. Service was exemplary, with a very friendly waitress attending to our needs promptly. Despite the restaurant's busy nature, our requests were met with efficiency and warmth, enhancing the overall ambiance of the evening. Mozambik Mossel Bay truly excels in delivering a memorable dining experience. From the picturesque location offering breathtaking views of the sea to the delectable cuisine meticulously prepared, every aspect of the visit was a testament to the establishment's commitment to excellence. Whether for a casual meal or a special occasion, Mozambik Mossel Bay stands out as a must-visit destination, where culinary delights and impeccable service converge to create unforgettable moments.

Hey so went to Mozambik Mossel Bay Tuesday 15th July for my girlfriend's birthday. What an awesome experience!!! Josiah was our waiter and he was on top form right from the get go. I told him its my girlfriend's birthday and he immediately shifted into gear to make it an event she would not forget. We hardly looked at the menu because we were sold on Josiah's recommendations. As a ex waiter I really admired his skills, he up saled us to a cocktail for the birthday girl and drought promo for me. And again on his recommendation we shared 30 prawns instead of ordering ten 10 each which was a bit more expensive but as he pointed out much better value for money. He also surprised my girlfriend with birthday wishes and a shooter as all the waiters sang for her. She really loved it and felt so special. He will definitely always be our waiter when we go there again and again. Arrie was the manager on duty and he was visible on the floor through out the evening ready to step in and offer assistance or a drink if you're waiter was busy with another table. And the food was awesome. So thank you to the whole team. We'll see you soon.

Food was good. Well prepared, fresh and flavourful. The servers are knowledgeable about the menu although our waitress disappeared for long stretches. This caused the soft drinks to be warm and flat and the ice cream to be melted when served. Tables are bussed regularly and very respectfully. The complimentary peanuts are a nice touch. We went back for a second visit with guests and this time our server fell ill. The runner had to finish serving us. The food was still good and affordable but the service needs serious attention.

My family and my experience at this restaurant was truly pathetic! Firstly, we had to wait almost an hour for a table. Secondly, the hostess was disrespectful to my mother, interjecting in our private conversation whilst addressing patrons unprofessionally whilst parading around on her 'not so' secret socks. Then, as we were finally called to our table, the waitress was unable to welcome us to the restaurant and check-in on us throughout the dining time. In addition to this, our meal orders were taken wrong, which we to some extent understood as we were a biggish group. Thirdly, a long disgusting strand of hair was found in one of our platters, this after waiting for almost an hour for the food. Also, not all our meals were produced as my father's meal came after the fact ie when we were about to pay. This was completely unacceptable.

In terms of the restrooms, they were filthy as if wasn't being cleaned.

Lastly, the worst part was when the manager dismissed our above concerns upon us mentioning this to him, and gas lighting the females at the table ( suggestively discriminating). No apologies were given by any of the above-mentioned staff members, which was appalling and unprofessional. The explanation of the hair strand was something of his imagination, as he suggested that the hair flew from someone's sculp into our platter. Not to mention, he insisted the cooks wear hairnets ( really now??).

This was beyond bizarre and delusional as he expected us to believe such a bogus excuse.

Based on the above, poor management of the restaurant and staff was evident and absolutely no care or appreciation to patrons were shown.

As a result, I would never recommend this restaurant or any...

From two months ago I left five star reviews to regrettably having to downgrade to one star reviews for Mozambik Mossel Bay 🙈

We loved this place, but the last two visits have seen a remarkable downturn in service and pressure to get us to give them a food order

Today, Xmas Day 23 my partner wanted to go here again especially since Delfinos was such a massive disappointment on her birthday yesterday on Xmas Eve

We were greeted here at Mozambik, shown to a convenient table outside, given our menus, and after quite some time we realised that the table next to us was being served, we thought we would have our orders taken - wrong!

We eventually got our things from the table and left having been completely ignored for about 15 minutes

Frankly, it is disgusting, let alone disappointing that we used to feel welcome here to being treated like dirt, and we have no reason to know why

Goodbye Mozambik, just like Delfinos, you were once really good

You guys need lessons from Leroy and Mo at BigBlu. These guys and their staff put you to shame

Surprise is that you all have the same ownership along with other names in Mossel Bay and elsewhere

(Original five star reviews) First time here, we were met and blessed with above average customer service where Paka greeted us so very well at the top of the stairs and he went on to serve us. He exemplifies excellence in sincere ways that is rare and pleasing.

The food, main course and deserts were delicious.

One of best dining experiences in and around Mossel Bay - we...
