Rocklands Beach — Attraction in Western Cape

Clean beautiful clear blue view of the ocean ,great to take a stroll, jog, walk your dog. In addition there play grounds for toddlers to play on with a outdoor mini gym, it is also suitable for Picnics. The walls on the promanade have amazing and rare sea creature pictures and part of the grass has an image of large two hands intertwined and clasping together this symbolizes "people to mutually aid, serve kindness and live together peacefully" which is the atmosphere you get at rocklands Beach and beach road promonade. One other great service provided is rental of bikes for R80.00 an hour, best way of exploring the area. LASTLY, there is an area at which paragliding is done so in the mist of everything mentioned above you get to enjoy people in the air and also spot a couple of boats...

It's a pity the water is so polluted and the rocks stripped bare of any sea life.....but still a lovely spot otherwise. Families love to hang out here. But I won't go in the water in Sea Point. It's only for visual pleasure these days, (if one ignores the misplaced plastic, fast food, diapers & trash, Sea Point is still nice. It takes a hell of a lot of unconscious humans to ruin nature. If a plastic bag is floating by and one has the pleasure of a spare five minutes, you can fill it with trash quite easily. I wish more folks could make this past...

Oh this part of the beach was great! To see people enjoying they time, kids jumping up and about, smiles and laughter, the vibe is great.

There isn't reach much sand, like the name implies it's rocky so it's good to sit and have a talk with your feet in the water getting washed occasionally with the waves.

Do yourself a favour and visit this place. You do not to pay anything, just yourself and your good vibes.
