Today, I have to make a bold statement: in my 42 years of enjoying anchovy toast – my all-time favourite – the one I had here is the best I have ever had. Perfectly balanced, full of flavour, and served on their own home-made seed bread that is just heavenly.

Firstly, im confused that this place isn't packed and running queues. The food is unbelievably good. Best breakfast I've had in many years. My wife had the toasted bacon, cheese and egg with homemade tomato relish. The portion was huge and delicious. Best toastie she's ever had. I had the spicy lamb stack on latkes. For the uninitiated, a latke is like a rosti. Brilliant, I cannot do this dish justice with words. I was walking by when i thought this place looks good and deserves a try only to be greeted by the least interested staff member who so happened to attend to my table (Carven is her name). First, my table was dirty granted maybe someone just left it and no one cleaned it before I sat down so i told her hey this table is dirty to which she said “Oh really?” No one to be a fan of drama i just said yes.
