The Elderly Couple Mural in Gamgodang-gil, ”We are Young“ was completed in August 2013. Since the mural was damaged a lot by aging after a long time, Jongno-gu Office restored it to the shape as it was loved by residents in April 2018. Thanks to Won Yeong-seon, a Graffiti Mural Artist, the original painter of the mural, Wall Painting ”We are Young“ came back to citizens. I wish your life to glow every moment with the youthfulness like the beautiful smile of the elderly couple in the mural.

감고당길 노부부벽화는 2013. 8월에 처음 완성되었습니다. 그 후 오랜 시간이 흘러 노후화로 인해 많이 훼손되었고, 이에 종로구청은 2018. 4월 주민들에게 사랑받고 있는 원래 모습 그대로 벽화를 복원하였습니다. 원작자인 그래피티 벽화 작가 원영선씨의 재능기부로 말끔해진 벽화가 다시 주민들 품으로 돌아왔습니다. 벽화 속 노부부의 아름다운 미소처럼, 삶의 매 순간 반짝이는 젊음을 간직하시길 기원합니다.
