Hotel Doma Myeongdong — Attraction in Seoul

I'm so impressed that i have to recommend this hotel again! Hotel and room, is very clean and quiet. We had a corner Standard Double Room 215ft big. Our room is quiet, much privacy, and huge! There is another separate doorway inside our room, for our shoes etc. It's like a mini porch. We went in snowing winter, and the floor seems to have heating function? It's very warm flooring, so comfortable and cozy! Love it. Much space for our 4 huge luggages, and still have extra space to walk around. ||||We stayed for 5 nights from 13 Feb to 18 Feb Check-out. Since our departure flight is on 18 Feb late night, we requested to leave our 4 huge luggages in the hotel. Everything is safe and intact when we claim them. Most Importantly, i must send my compliment to your front desk staff LUNA LEE, working on 18 Feb night. She is exceptionally helpful. We asked her where is the airport bus stop, she directed us. But we probably look too tired and blur. And we are catching out last airport bus. She happily brought us out of the hotel, and she helped to pull 2 of our huge heavy luggages out of the hotel, walked with us all the way out to the road traffic lights, and pointed us the airport bus stop. We didn't ask her to do that, but she took the kind initiative to do it. THANK YOU LUNA LEE! We are so happy about this. ||||Overall, it's a super pleasant stay in this hotel from the first night, we check in past midnight 2 AM... they kept our room for us despite our outrageous late check-in. Our room is HUGE, design is classy and modern, with high tech toilet, nice comfortable bed, a big bathtub and sink. Super CLEAN! Housekeeping replenishes all toiletries. Oh, and on out check-out day, i asked for 2 complimentary bottled water. They came up to our room, with 4 bottles! Awesome! We got a good deal off a Singapore Air package for a standard room. However when we arrived, we were astounded by how small the room was (some may call it cosy). We requested an upgrade to either the deluxe room (krw 50k more per night) or the suite (krw 100k more per night). These were so much more spacious for the money we paid! Highly recommend going at least for the deluxe room.||For the suite: we got the outdoor jacuzzi suite which came with a nice outdoor balcony. The extra space served us really well as a space for 2 more of our friends to chill out.||For the deluxe room: layout was the best as toilet entrance wasn’t directly facing the bed. The bed was a single and a double. Overall room size was pretty spacious.||However, beds in the hotel weren’t exactly comfortable; they were quite hard and seemed wrapped in plastic. When we requested extra blankets or pillows, we were told there weren’t any until the next day and they never came 😅.||Staff generally were nice but inflexible. We had to switch rooms in between and they insisted we bring our luggage to the lobby first. ||Location was really good. It’s at the entrance of chungmuro station and directly opposite the airport limo bus. Do note it’s a good 15 min walk from myeong dong / 1 train stop away.||Overall I’d stay here only if I were looking for a budget stay. Adjust your expectations that this is a...
