My favorite place to Shop in Granada after the old Moroccan quarter is The Nevada Shopping Mall. A large, clean, spacious mall. Great parking facilities outside and underground, lifts and escalators. A great variety of shops to suit many budgets with homeware shops, clothes shops, shoe shops, perfume, jewellery and a large and varies food court and a Kineplex Cinema and Children's/Young teens area (check opening times/days). There are also a few coffee shops too and a large Mercadonna with lift access to the underground car park.
There is also a large Leroy Merlin in the same complex. At this time of writing this (May 11th 2021) the entrance from inside the mall was closed and access to Leroy Merlin was outside underneath the food court.
If you go upstairs to the food court, there are large glass windows at the end looking out to the often snow capped Sierra Nevada which has the highest point in continental Spain at 3,479 metres above sea level!, Great for panoramic photos or the obligatory selfie.
During the Covid crisis they have have compulsory mask usage, hand sanitiser on the entrances/exits, and a one way entrance and exit to help distance people.

Read moreFirst of all, I hate shopping, and I hate shopping centres even more. However, this one is tolerable. Pros: spacious, light, airy, and clean. There's plenty of room to move around even when crowded. A huge range of shops, from global brands to more specialised. It's easy to get to on public transport, and it seems to have good, free, parking. There's lots of places to stop and have refreshments or food, with a wide choice to suit every taste and budget. Plenty of toilets, the one I used was roomy and clean, and had all the amenities well stocked.Terrific views of the mountains. It doesn't feel claustrophobic, unlike most other shopping centres. Cons: ghastly, invasive musak everywhere, including the toilets. Some people are easily overwhelmed by noise, and I found myself getting quite agitated because I couldn't escape this racket. There's almost no map/plan/signposting, so it's difficult and tedious to find specific shops. It was overheated the day I was there. This is a good shopping centre I would go to again for particular shops. I don't think I've ever said this about a shopping...
Read moreNevada Shopping truly exceeded my expectations. It’s one of the largest and most modern malls I’ve ever visited. The selection of stores is fantastic – from high-end fashion to affordable brands, electronics, home decor, and everything in between.
The layout is spacious and easy to navigate, with plenty of natural light and clean facilities. I especially appreciated the variety of restaurants and cafés – perfect for taking a break between shopping. There’s also a cinema and play areas for kids, which makes it ideal for families.
Parking was free and abundant, and public transportation (especially the metro) makes it very accessible.
All in all, this is not just a mall – it’s a full-day experience. Highly recommended for locals and...
