Good food, amazing atmosphere but i had an encounter with a staff member that ruined it. I was looking for the person I’d eaten with after eating, thinking they went outside already so I walked a little bit out of the door but couldn’t find them so assumed they went downstairs to the bathroom. I walk back in to the restaurant heading for the bathroom and proceeded to get blocked by a male staff member, getting in my face, sarcastic and rude telling me I cannot go to the bathrooms. (I understand about not letting people use the restroom until they buy something or dine there but he was immediately rude and getting in my face.) I go to tell him I just ate there and he proceeds to tell me that I didn’t when he saw me and the person I ate with walk in and get sat at a table. I sit there and argue with him (where he immediately started the argument in the first place) and he asks me where my ticket is and I tell him the person I’m trying to find right now has it, i don’t, and he proceeds to get even more rude, argumentative, in my face, and continues telling me no. The food was good, our server was great, but this guy was mannerless and should be watched closer. He even gave me a dirty look whilst walking out of the restaurant, not even having been down in the bathroom long enough to have used it as the person I was looking for wasn’t even in there, he then followed me out, watching me as I found the person I was with. I wish I knew his name to report him but he was very rude about the whole situation and if he would’ve just come up to me and said to me “sorry I cannot let you use the restroom without buying/dining here.” then this wouldn’t be such a long, angry review but instead he proceed to walk up to me saying “no no no” and wagging his finger in my face. Figure this out and don’t hire rude people like this because besides that encounter it was an amazing place with great atmosphere...

I recently visited Hard Rock Café Barcelona and had an absolutely fantastic evening—thanks in large part to our server, Simona. From the moment we sat down, Simona’s warm welcome and genuine enthusiasm set the tone for the entire meal. She knew the menu inside and out and guided us effortlessly through the choices.
We started with the Cobb salad with chicken, which was fresh, crisp, and perfectly dressed—just the right balance of flavors and textures. Encouraged by Simona’s recommendation, we also tried the fajitas: the sizzling skirt steak and chicken arrived piping hot, piled high with colorful peppers and onions, and came with all the classic fixings. Finally, the New York strip steak was cooked exactly as ordered—tender, juicy, and beautifully seasoned, with a side of buttery garlic mashed potatoes that stole the show.
What really stood out was Simona’s attentiveness: she checked in at just the right moments, refilling our drinks and offering great pairing suggestions without ever interrupting our conversation. The restaurant atmosphere—rock memorabilia on the walls, lively music, and a buzz of happy diners—made for a fun, energetic backdrop to our meal.
Whether you’re a first-timer or a regular, ask for Simona. Her passion for the menu and her top-notch service turned a great meal into an unforgettable night. Highly...
Read moreWe visited Hard Rock Cafe Barcelona on the 26th of August at 9pm (family of 5) and had dinner outside. The food was excellent – everything was delicious, and our waiter was very polite and attentive. Up to that point, I was genuinely thinking of leaving a 5-star review.
Unfortunately, our experience changed completely when we went inside to shop afterwards. We saw a campaign advertised as “3 T-shirts for €75 – all T-shirts” and decided to buy three for our children. After waiting in line for about 15 minutes, the cashier rang up the total as €125. I asked why, and only then was I told (by another cashier who stepped in) that the small asterisk next to “all*” excluded certain T-shirts.
I was surprised – if it’s not all T-shirts, the wording should be clearer. Still, since my daughter loved the excluded T-shirt, I was willing to pay the higher price. What shocked me was the cashier’s attitude: instead of asking us if we’d like to proceed or choose differently, both cashiers simply deleted our items, said “next customer,” and moved on as if we weren’t worth their time.
This was extremely disappointing. We weren’t given a choice, nor treated with the basic courtesy of being asked how we’d like to continue. The dining part of our visit could have been five stars, but because of this unprofessional and dismissive experience in the shop, the overall impression is no more...
