Oxo Museum in Madrid is a bold, immersive dive into the intersection of art, technology, and human emotion. Spread across multiple floors, the museum delivers a multi-sensory experience that feels less like a traditional gallery and more like stepping into the mind of a digital visionary. Each installation is meticulously curated—from projection-mapped walls to interactive light and sound displays—inviting visitors to not just observe but participate. What sets Oxo apart is its commitment to storytelling. Themes of identity, climate, and consciousness echo throughout the space, provoking thought while keeping visitors visually captivated. It’s rare to find a museum where kids, teens, and adults are equally engaged, but Oxo strikes that balance beautifully. The space itself is sleek and well-organized, with timed entries that prevent overcrowding and allow each moment to breathe. Staff are knowledgeable and approachable, and the pacing of the experience is spot-on. A must-visit for anyone looking to explore the future of art and human connection in the heart of Madrid.

Went on a weekday afternoon and there were only a couple other families there. It is a little expensive BUT they do have a reduced rate for families, & an annual pass that I personally think is worth it. I've seen some reviews that said some of the games didn't work, but I only saw maybe 3 or 4 games/systems that weren't working. The history of videogames part is super cool, & they have a huge selection of gaming systems on display & available to play. The arcade is also super cool, the Japanese games were the most fun for my son. The PlayStation floor was pretty cool, too. The entire place is themed very well, it's clean, in good condition & a nice place to spend a couple of hours as a family.
