Parque de la Sortija — Attraction in Puerto de la Cruz

We found this lovely beautiful green park by accident at the back of an old conference centre. It was a good size with plenty of pretty flowering shrubs about and lots of butterflies. Their was a small childrens play area, a outdoor gym course, a dog park with agility course for them and plenty of benches to sit and watch the world go by. At the very back their was a small area that was was a bit of woodland walk. It was very well paved and mostly level with a raised part that could be accessed without using the steps. Their was a big car parking area in front of it. Their was a map at front and back entrances. It was very calm and peaceful as very few...

Such a beautiful park. Great to see lots of different activites such as yoga. strolling, jogging and children playing, all without spoiling the peaceful atmosphere. There is the Anglican Church with the memorial garden for the victims of the Tenerife airport disaster in 1977..... All kind of different trees and plants and a nice local bar/ café...

A very beautiful, quiet place with a lot of different trees, shrubs, a good lawn where you can sunbathe or relax in the shade of trees.

In the evening, there is a special charm here, as a large number of lanterns are turned on.

There is a playground for sports, there is a special paddock for walking animals.
