First of all: Thank you for your reply. Sorry to hear that my review hurts your feelings, but it is what it is. My feelings was hurt as well. I was your guest and that’s my guest experience. Don’t call me a liar, I just explained how I felt in your place. I’m not such a person who writing a reviews but I think my expectation about your place was too high and it was ruined by coming over. Please admit that hospitality means paying attention or at least let guest getting what he ordered. I declined the new sushi roll cause I understand you have a full house and it would take to long to wait, so I was OK to eat whatever looks in my plate. And didn’t say anything. But it was 3 times I asked for the ice and I don’t understand why the servers couldn’t provide me a simple favor I asked . I already finished my food and didn’t take a single sip of my wine. So the point I was disappointed was about trying to get the ice by myself and finally get one but with the blacked napkin around. Please admit it is not about hospitality . So it was a moment when I wanted to write a review. So I did. I don’t know why your staff didn’t mention to you that somthing happens in right time. But hoping my review will help you to grow better. P.S actually my day was amazing yesterday, and I was hoping to end it in right place to have an amazing dinner experience.

Absolutely disgusting everything: food, service, atmosphere We’ve booked a table in advance an when presented have to wait more than 15 min to get seated The server asked about wine I said please white one with ice on a side, then she bring the wine and disappeared with ice forever The food I ordered was presented so badly (ordered a salmon roll) and the server said it’s OK, but it was smashed somewhere I asked second time for the ice, and server said OK and disappeared again. So for the final try I tried to get the ice by myself and first server presented herself she gave me the ice can with black napkin inside, maybe she thought it’s really nice looking design, but when I tried to put that hell ice to my wine everything was in that “designed” black napkin. You will have to look for a long time to find anything negative to write about for this place. Table booking got answered in a few minutes over WhatsApp, quick and easy. Upon arrival we were greeted by lovely staff that you could just tell loves to treat their costumers right. Easy and modernized way to view menus on your phone, but also physical copies if needed. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very cosy, cool and eye catching decorations. Reminded me of the Disney movie "Encanto". We ordered the Angus sharing dish as a started and the lamb shank and Angus steak as a main course. We had a tropical margarita and Dame La Muerte Chiquita for drinks.

The starter (Angus skewers) was amazing. The beef was cooked to perfection and the marinada/sauce was amazing. I could not stop trying to scrape off all the sauce of my plate with wonderful crispy potatos that you get as a side.

The second dish was the Lamb Shank. Served in a wonderful sauce with vegetables, beans and tortillas to make your own tacos. The meat was perfect and just melts in your mouth. Amazing dish, great for sharing.

The best for last, the Angus steak. It's just WOW. Hard to descripe how good the steak actually was, words won't justify it. It melts in your mouth with this amazing grilled flavor. Perfectly cooked as we ordered(medium rare) and we could not stop eating. The dishes are pretty big so we had to focus on the beef in the end and leave the sides as it would be a shame to not finish that steak!

The drinks were good, wish we had time to try a few more but we just have to go back to do that ;)

All in all thanks for amazing food and thank you to your wonderful staff!

Incredible evening out for my girlfriend’s birthday meal!

The food and drinks were delicious and very well priced.

To start, we had duck tacos to share. We then went with ‘Grilled Angus Cut’ and ‘Strip Loin Saltado’.

The Angus cut was the most incredible meat I have had in a long time, along with the vegetables, rice and veg it was very filling!

For dessert, we went with Crème Brûlée and a chocolate brownie.

All in all, drinks and meal it came to €74 for two people, well worth it and would have been back again had we had the time.

The service Ivana, our waitress was top notch, always providing us advice on what to order, her favourite menu items as well as ensuring we had everything we needed.

The atmosphere of Zicatela is superb, feels very cosy and warm. When at the table, it feels like it is just your table and there is no one else around, despite the restaurant being full!

My advise would be, if you want to book, to message the restaurant on WhatsApp as they can then be flexible and help with booking slots.
