An Exceptional Dining Experience – Pure Class
We had the pleasure of dining at Restaurante Muxacho yesterday, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the elegance and refined atmosphere of the venue. The setting is sophisticated yet warm, with tasteful décor and a serene, exclusive ambiance that sets the tone for a perfect meal.
What stood out immediately was the professionalism and charm of the staff. Our waiter, and the entire team, struck the perfect balance between attentiveness and friendliness — always present, never intrusive. Their genuine passion for hospitality added a special touch to the evening.
The food was outstanding — each dish beautifully presented and crafted with exceptional ingredients. The Carrillera de Cerdo and Cochinillo were simply exquisite, and the Pavlova Muxacho was a delicate, delicious finale. We also appreciated the excellent selection of drinks, including a perfectly made Bloody Mary and elegant wines.
All of this was accompanied by excellent background music, creating a relaxed and sophisticated mood without ever overpowering the conversation.
Restaurante Muxacho is not just a place to eat — it’s a place to indulge in a truly exclusive, first-class experience. Highly recommended for anyone seeking style, flavour, and...
Read moreAbsolutely shocking - avoid! Decided to come here for our final night on holiday. Terrible experience. A beautiful restaurant with a lovely piano player and atmosphere. However the food was the worst meal we had all holiday. My partner was recommended the sea bass, which came out in tinfoil COMPLETELY uncooked. Literally wet and slimy, like it hadn’t been in the oven at all. When we told the waiter he was horrified and took it straight back to the kitchen. It then took 15 mins to cook whilst I ate my food which was really bland and poor. When the sea bass was cooked, it wasn’t tasteful in the slightest. She was so disappointed and I felt so sorry for her. The vegetables were hard and there was no flavour. We assumed they would apologise and knock some money off the bill, but they didn’t, so the bill came to 70 euros. For sea bass and chicken, a coke and a glass of wine. I instantly asked if they could knock the cost down due to the poor experience and the fact she could’ve ingested uncooked fish. The staff were flustered about this and only offered a reduction of 5 euros. I would not recommend the food here. Lovely atmosphere and the waiters were genuine, but the owner was rude and cold and the chefs kept staring and laughing at us because...
Read moreWe visited this restaurant in Tenerife after seeing many brilliant reviews, but overall the experience did not live up to the reputation.
Even though we had a reservation, we had to wait about five minutes by the entrance before being seated, and then another five minutes before menus were given to us. That already felt disorganized and i felt we were not welcome here.
The food itself was not what I expected. The veal cheek I ordered came with potato, and carrot chips — but no real vegetables. For €24, the dish felt incomplete and not worth the price. My son’s tagliatelle was also slightly undercooked.
But the most disappointing and unprofessional part was at the end: the restaurant added €5 to the bill for bread and small snacks they brought at the beginning without asking. We never ordered this, and in most restaurants such items are complimentary. To bring something unsolicited and then charge the customer is, in my opinion, unacceptable and very unprofessional. Even if its only 5 euro..
Overall, this was a disappointing visit and I...
