It was a long steep walk up here but well worth it for the wonderful views whilst we sat in the glorious sunshine and ate our picnic watching the world go by down below in the city. You could see the coast, the port walls and waterpark too and up to the mountains. The paths are well paved and their are steps to get to the different levels, some quite steep. Their was not many flowers about, but we saw some white bird of paradise ones. It was more shrubs and trees but still very pretty and green. There were numerous viewing areas with seating and bins. Their was a cafe with toilets for customers only. It was all very neat and tidy and the gardener was busy at work. Only one of the water features was working, the rest looked like work in progress to clean them out. I would imagine that it would look very different and more colourful in the summer months. There is only one, small water-connected area - all the others look like they haven't seen water since Franco.
Some walls are covered in graffiti, the pavement in many places is not bricked or is just covered with many kinds of leaves and dirt.
The only positive aspect is the view from the top. However the condition of this place is making it not a good attraction.
