Loved the atmosphere of this place. The food was mostly great. Some items seemed a bit disproportionately priced (eg Fava beans) but I was introduced to a new wine love of my life by the waitress. Would be nice if they let us know when the kitchen closes as one of our meals didn’t arrive but they resolved that quickly when they realised - still would have liked the courtesy of knowing to get the last order in. Read loads of reviews about tapas bars and this was on our doorstep.(Hemingway). Very busy and I suppose get worse as the evening descends. Sat In the corner by the window looking at the bar/street. Bar buzzing with noise,food and drink consumed. Carla served us,what a lovely funny lady,runs about like mad, we laughed along with her. Thanks Carla. Would love this bar near home, it's so good. Went here on high recommendations.. not a huge selection of tapas like in previous reviews. Service was abysmal- had to flag 1 of 10 staff (many who were either on their phones, or just chatting to each other) to get a drink and then also to order food. No real smiles or interest in me (wonder if it was because I was dining alone?). Great view, shit service...take your pick what's more important.
