A Culinary Gem in Ronda – Unforgettable Flavors and Warm Hospitality

Dining in Ronda was an absolute pleasure, and this restaurant delivered a true taste of Andalucía in every bite. From the moment we sat down, we were embraced by a welcoming, rustic ambiance and the friendly charm of the staff — especially the charismatic gentleman who proudly introduced us to a magnificent local tomato like it was a treasured heirloom.

Every dish was a celebration of local flavors: • The braised oxtail was nothing short of perfection — tender, fall-off-the-bone meat bathed in a rich, savory sauce, served with crispy, golden potatoes that soaked up every drop of flavor. • The grilled octopus was outstanding — smoky, charred just right, and served atop seasoned potatoes that added depth to every bite. The balance of texture and flavor showed real culinary finesse. • A fresh tomato and anchovy salad burst with Mediterranean brightness, the saltiness of the fish perfectly balanced by ripe tomatoes and a drizzle of olive oil. • The mixed salad and assorted starters rounded out the meal, bringing freshness and variety to the table, accompanied by crusty bread ideal for mopping up the sauces.

The service was warm and personable, and the setting — with traditional decor and a laid-back vibe — made it feel like a home-cooked feast among friends.

Verdict: A must-visit in Ronda. Whether you’re a seasoned foodie or simply looking to savor authentic Spanish cuisine, this place delivers heart, soul, and...

Entente a acordarse!!!

We ordered a selection of starters: the mixed meat platter, croquettes, and chorizo sausages. Unfortunately, the overall experience was underwhelming.

The service was average – the waiter didn’t seem very welcoming or enthusiastic, which set a slightly cold tone from the start.

As for the food: • The chorizo sausages had a texture more like a meat paste inside, which was quite disappointing. Flavor-wise, I’d rate them 4/10. • The meat platter was decent in taste, but the portion size was surprisingly small considering the price. Not the best value for money. • The croquettes also missed the mark – the filling tasted more like a mush of meat and onions, and lacked the expected creaminess or flavor depth.

Overall, I wouldn’t return for these dishes. The quality and service didn’t match the...

My wife and I I enjoyed a late lunch at Restaurante Tabernacle Santa Domingo. We sat outside in the shade. It was a warm, dry day (84F/27C) but we were in the shade with a light cool breeze, so we were comfortable. We had water, cava, and two entrees (pork cheeks in a wine sauce with frites and grilled tuna with green salad). All was very good! Our server, Antonio, was timely with the service and delivered an excellent service. I recommend it!
