La Plaza del Príncipe de Asturias es una plaza situada en el centro de Santa Cruz de Tenerife, España. Aunque comúnmente se la conoce como Plaza del Príncipe, su nombre completo es Plaza del Príncipe de Asturias. Fue trazada en 1857 y proyectada por Manuel de Oraá y Arcocha. La plaza se construyó sobre el huerto del convento de San Pedro de Alcántara, en la entonces trasera de la iglesia (actualmente Iglesia de San Francisco). Su nombre proviene del entonces Príncipe de Asturias, Alfonso XII. La plaza cuenta con un templete central y numerosos laureles de Indias (Ficus nitida), algunos de ellos plantados el 29 de octubre de 1860 y que fueron enviados desde Cuba 12.
