Do you want to eat in a fast way at a low quality and high price? This restaurant meets the criteria.

Unfortunate, compared with the pre-covid period, the number of cantina restaurants increased.

I don't know what the procedures are to be a restaurant here, but in this case nobody has the knowledge of some (professional) skills/attitude.

In my case, one of the waiters was so shocked that I insisted on changing the forks between the starter and main course. We ordered a not cheap white wine, and the lady put the wine in the glasses like the ordinary waters: from up, with a lot of noise, almost filled the glass. Of course, she didn't offer me the possibility of tasting. Remember, we are in the cantina, and everybody needs to eat fast and leave the place for others. She was extremely obfuscated when WE asked for the ice bucket. We received something artificially to keep the wine cold.

Be prepared to not breathe between the starter and the main course. I can understand the situation in an Asian restaurant, but in a European restaurant there is only one explanation: they want only your money from your pocket and to be extremely efficient per place.

The main problem of this restaurant is the quality of service, amateur is a far from a good characterization. They are cheeky in attitude, and completely unprofessional. But doesn't matter for them, because the restaurant have a good position on the pedestrian way,  and there will be a lot of clients. But don't make my mistake, I have chosen the restaurant not because it was convenient.

Regarding the (sea) food. I selected the restaurant, because they have on the menu the octopus (one of my favorite foods). The food is eatable, nothing special. Probably the same food quality is on the fish market. Don't expect to eat something visual and/or tasting special. My food was completed unsalt. They put me on the table, the salt container. As I said, the cantina restaurant.

Attention: grilled fish (sama) , only half fish for two person

While ordering i asked if they have fresh fish. The waitress said: yes we have fresh local fish for two person, to share.

And I said: perfect. We want to order this.

(So I assumed we gonna get a whole fish.)

After serving I was wondering if this is a whole fish?!? Because it doesn’t look like. So I asked her again: is it a whole fish? She said: yes.

We were very confused bc it wasn’t much, but she still told us it is for two person.

So after eating I kept asking her: „was it really a whole fish because we could only find „one eye“, where is the other?“ Then she told us the truth: „it was a half fish for two person. To have a whole fish it is too much for two person.“

So at the end I paid for 1/4 fish almost 20€ per person (without drinks) How crazy expensive is it?!? And I wasn’t full. I had to order some more food at another restaurant, in order not to be hungry anymore.

Just be aware: In case if you ask for a grilled fish for two person, you will only get a HALF FISH (which is planned for two person) but you gonna pay for the whole fish. That’s what the bill said.

Nevertheless the service was good. Waitresses are very friendly and speaks good English.

I would like to suggest: next time please tell the guests that they only get a half fish and don’t let them believe it is a whole fish. Otherwise is gonna be very...

Octopus was soft and delicious, food was ready very fast - I didn't have to wait, but i was alone and wanted to sit outside, and seem like the manager was not happy to give me a table even so i was dining at 18:00😃 which is not busy hours - but i was trying to smile and be nice all the time - but was only getting that negative look from her - maybe has something to do with me being a pretty slavic girl - dunno - but i was not comfortable- was trying to eat fast and leave- instead of enjoying my food - my bill was €25 for sitting there barely 30 mins. Waitress was nice - but I didn't tip her extra to service that was already included to the bill, because as i said i was feeling unwanted and manager have to learn better manners.
