Mya Club — Attraction in Valencia

Demeaning treatment. In Umbracle, the VIP area is not signalized correctly. No sign indicates that people who are not VIPs cannot sit on the sofas. There are staff that delimit some parts, but not all, so if you go to the bar through the VIP area and nobody tells you otherwise by any means, it is normal to think that you can sit on an empty sofa. We were sitting there after ordering the drink that includes the €20 entry paid in advance, and the next thing I know, the person in charge of that area tells us that we either pay more money or security kicks us out. He accuses us of having drunk from a bottle that was not ours, when I had not drunk anything that I had not paid for before (What interest can I have in drinking a bottle of someone I do not know?). I inform the person in charge that his accusations are unfounded and that he has not seen me carry out the actions of which he accuses me and he does not care. Either we paid for the drink (which I had already paid for) or security would kick us out. There was no way to reason with him about his irrational accusations. He took the authority by his hand. I understand that they can call you out for sitting on a sofa that belongs to people with VIP tickets, but it is not marked or warned, much less justified that they accuse me of something I have not done. He doesn't have any kind of proof, since his accusations are completely false. I paid €20 to be in a club for just 1 hour and have security accompany me for the most unjustified and completely FALSE reason. There was no way to reason with them, calmly trying to explain the situation to them. They have lost several potential clients...

We came to this club in September after a wedding celebration of a friend. In fact we entered a club at 5:30am as on Google maps it says it’s open until 7:30am, but this is not true. The atmosphere was alright and we were having a good time with our group chatting and dancing until 6:50am when bouncers started pushing us to the exit and we just got our last drinks purchased as we thought we still have more than 30 min to finish it (why would they sell the drinks even knowing it’s closing earlier than it says?) But the worst comes next - we were trying to finish drinks fast standing already next to the exit, when bouncer grabbed my female friend’s hand (!!!) and poured her drink in trash bin. Then he grabbed her and started pushing her outside physically(!!!). I need to mention that we didn’t argue with them and were very calm and polite all the way, we just tried to finished what we paid for and were ready to leave. Using physical touch on people is absolutely inappropriate, it went to the extent that we were about to call the police. However it was already late and we were tired and in fact we had no proofs, so my only way to somehow put an impact is this review… all the way at the end bouncers were insulting us and were extremely rude. Please be aware that you are NOT SAFE at this place and you must avoid it...

So the first time Umbracle/Mya, we went with a couple of friends. From the ‘free’ Erasmus ticket that was free until 01:00. The line was HUGE at 23:30. I was the first one around 01.00 to get told to pay 30 euros or go away. I didn’t mind to pay ant entrance, but the way how they slow it all down, people actually fainted because ppl where pushing and nobody did a thing. At the end, they let my friends in for free and they wanted to see money from me. I’ve observed for a while after and before that experience. And it’s such a shame how they are exploiting their costumers. After 01.00 they could handle way faster than before.

After i walked away, the security guy came to me and said ‘come’. I think he still wanted to let me in, but at that moment, me and my friends night was already ruined. I let my friends go and told the security guard that its not necessary for me to go inside anymore. And that they could handle WAY BETTER AND FASTER.

Its a great way to get and to LOSE costumers.

I ended up not stepping a foot inside and not giving a euro inside as well. And i will never do that because I don’t support this behavior from all the staff over there. Aren’t worth my money.
