I couldn't believe that in 2024, a supposedly reputable establishment like Ballys Casino would engage in such a discriminatory practice.

This decision wasn't just the doing of an unaware doorman; it was endorsed by Bally's Casino management, with five individuals from the casino conveying the message.

It is nothing short of reprehensible that Ballys Casino in Colombo refuses to accommodate individuals with disabilities. Not only is this discriminatory policy morally wrong, but it is also a clear violation of basic human rights and the principles of inclusivity. Casinos should be places where everyone can come together to enjoy themselves and try their luck, regardless of their physical abilities.

The message that Ballys Casino sends to the disabled community is not only insulting but also disgraceful. It conveys the idea that they are not welcome, that their money and patronage are not valued, and that their enjoyment and well-being do not matter. This kind of discrimination is not only shameful but also illegal in many parts of the world, where laws exist to protect the rights of people with disabilities.

I strongly urge anyone considering a visit to Ballys Casino in Colombo to think twice. Supporting an establishment that engages in such blatant discrimination is unconscionable. I hope that Ballys Casino reevaluates its policies and takes immediate steps to rectify this appalling situation. Until then, I will never set foot in that place again, and I encourage others to do the same.
