I rarely leave bad reviews, but if I can rate this place bellow 0 that could be proper quality, at this restaurant was honestly rip off and expensive for what they give during our visit after Bokmässan.

So 3,7 rate here is actually not suprise for how mediocre low quality they have.

The food MIGHT have been fine, but way overpriced for 3 tacos and small portion of guacamole that will leave you hungry after you pay 300 sek for that . Not mentioned that food have been served on plate that was dirty and full of oil at the bottom .

Let’s just rate staff and entire organisation how they operate on a disappointing level.

From the moment we arrived, they were rude and dismissive. We weren’t even greeted properly, moment we arrived we saw sign ”wait to be seated” wich stands at the entré. Young female lady came in front and without even any formally greeting, only with arrogance and attitude questioned ”you have a booking” ? Wich we didn’t have, so she took a menus, without any formal response, went on a side close to outdoor and literally threw the menus on the table. Wich is obviously sign that we need to sit there, half open-close side, without any questions is it fine or comfortable, cause it was half open and cold for us .

Realisation was that most of the staff seemed to be female, but unfortunately that you can’t recognise because everybody walking around in a different uniform, either hawaii’s t shirt, blue, pink or whatsaver that we understood after some time sitting there, leaving you clueless who is who there, and who to ask for help. Our drinks took ages to arrive, and when we politely reminded them, the response was sarcastic and unprofessional.

Best of the best at one point, a staff members was even arguing loudly near our table, point eyes on us, wich my wife realise, and that made the whole atmosphere even more uncomfortable.

By the end, NO ONE asked if we enjoyed our food or needed anything else.

We left our table to pay in the bar, where again we are treated with arrogance- Where do you sit !? but guess what, they asked to leave the tip when machine was handed to us.

Such a feeling unwelcome and disappointed. With so many great restaurants around, I definitely won’t be coming back — customer service should never be this...

In short, neither great nor terrible, just a on the pricer side for what is a conpletely forgettable meal.

We had the lunch buffet consisting of corn tortillas for tacos which were a bit dry, guacamole that seems bought in supermarket style rather than made in house (no red onion, no diced tomato, no jalapeño, lacking plenty of salt and pepper and not much coriander and missing a nice punch of lime. All seems like trying to keep it cheap and save money). The pork was OK, but a bit chewy and you could make at home yourself without a ton of effort and it might be tastier. Beef was nice enough, but again just a bit bland and lacking seasoning, but was tender.

Each dish just lacked that Mexican punch in the mouth of flavour. No salsa Mexicana available either, which is a bit weird considering it is effectively Mexico's national dish right? There was some queso fresco which was a nice touch though. The refried beans didn't seem to be made with pork lard, just missed a opportunity for something great.

Paid 185kr for the buffet, however that's a bit pricey for the quality. If it was a Dagensmeny at 110kr it would be a decent value.

Service was friendly and efficient, so no complaints there.

It kind of feels that someone described what Mexican food looked like to the owner and then they opened a restaurant without ever having experienced an absolute banging and beautifully authentic tasty meal in Mexico.

It is a physical incarnation of...

After two weeks in Stockholm and Göteborg eating delightful and beautiful meals I was craving simple comfort food. They have a lovely lunch buffet with dressed Romaine lettuce or mixed darker spinach leaf lettuce, tortilla chips, a medium sized pot of salsa, medium roasted potatoes with salt on the skin and a little chili powder, Spanish rice, yucca and sweet potatoes, refried beans, and a pot of stewed chicken, another pot of stewed beef, and another pot of adobe beef, soft corn tortillas made in the kitchen (we saw them being made), corn, cheese, pickled onions, and chopped cilantro. They had fresh guacamole that you had to request. The place is huge, and they also have covered outdoor seating. We were sat at a table immediately and given water on the table and invited to the buffet. We did have to find someone to ask for the guacamole. The amount of guacamole they give you is a small bowl, but it was enough for the two of us. They clearly have a staff shortage, so if you are going to want other drinks, or something other than the buffet - you might have to wait or be disappointed. For us, the meal was exactly what we looking for. There were quite a few Spanish speaking families around us, so the food must be decent. It was 315 sek for the two of us. Dinner might be a different experience since they have a huge bar area and clearly are set up for margaritas...

First thing first this place is overrated. The prices are ridiculously expensive and not according to what they put in the plate. Me being latin I can assure you they use the cheapest flour to do their boring 3 tacos tortillas, it's not even corn flour as they claim. Another thing, THE MARGARITA ARE A RIP OFF! Hella expensive, nothing of alcohol in it and barely had like 15ml of pure ice. I convinced my boyfriend not to complaing about it cuz I told him I wanted to have a nice dinner outside but boy we made a huge mistake going here. When we were dinning there, another family asked for 2 margaritas and they did complain about it. I got to see how bad the staff reacted towards their complaint. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. NOTHING IN FROM THIS MENY BESIDES THE CORONA IS AUTHENTIC. Is pure marketing with a good location. Don't expect good authentic Mexican food here, make your money worth and go somewhere else.

- Waiter service was fine, normal. - We only got one appetizer, one entree, two beers, and one mixed drink-and it was almost 1000kr. Then of course they ask for a tip at the end, as Sweden has started doing in the last 5-10 years (like the U.S.). - The entree was enchiladas and was fine. - The appetizer was nachos with dip. The dip was supposed to be a white cheese. It tasted like whipped milk but somehow with even less flavor than plain whipped milk? Have they ever tasted cheese dip before? This was an abomination. - They had us sit outside due to space issue inside, but only provided light fleece blankets and no heaters. We were cold. This is an unpleasant way to eat dinner. - Also, that wrapped up plastic box thing in the center was still there, as another reviewer had referenced. - Probably won’t go back.
