The Östasiatiska Museet is an absolute must-visit for anyone interested in East Asian culture, history, and art. The museum offers a fantastic collection of artifacts from China, Japan, Korea, and other regions, beautifully displayed in a well-organized and informative manner.

The exhibitions cover a wide range of topics, from ancient ceramics and Buddhist sculptures to traditional calligraphy and textiles. The museum does a great job of providing historical context, making it engaging for both casual visitors and those with a deeper interest in Asian studies.

The atmosphere is calm and inviting, allowing visitors to take their time and truly appreciate the intricate details of the artifacts. Plus, the location by the water adds to the overall experience, making it a great spot for a relaxed cultural outing. Highly recommended for history lovers and those looking to explore something beyond the usual tourist attractions...

A small quality museum with Eastern Asian artefacts. For me the big attraction is a spacious room, that hosts a good collection of Buddha statues, from India, China, Pakistan, Tibet, as well as some photos. Some of the valuable statues are in glass casings but most are in the open air. These Buddhas certainly have a presence and blessing power – if you are open to such things and give yourself time to really be there, with yourself and them. The museum also has some current exhibitions, we saw one of Korean women divers – beautiful wheather beaten, water beaten, mostly older women in their 70’s and 80’s. At present the museum is also free of charge and lies within 200 meters of the...

Not recommended! WARNING! DO NOT VISIT! My family visited here for Lunar New Year, but there was nothing authentic to do or experience, nowhere to eat or rest because this museum is not meant for so many people. Only the first 30-50 people could see the only activity "dragon dance" because the museum started "event" too early, while hundreds of people were waiting outside the museum to get in.

Cafe: An absolute nightmare! People sat on the floor to eat COLD lunch box. Thought it was a REFUGEES CAMP.

Toalett: ONLY 3 Toalett. Why would the museum think they can handle so many people?

Others: *Not enough lockers *No place to rest *No place to eat *Dirty activities *Boring...
