ATT 4 FUN Xinyi Store — Attraction in Taipei

I recently at at the restaurant "the Diner" the food there was fantastic! Everything on the menu that we tried was really tasty and to boot all servings were American sized (we were very surprised) the prices are moderate and the environment is fairly clean. The reception area requires some work as it totally contrasts the dining area in terms of neatness, the restaurant doesn't not have a bathroom in the full sense of the word (there's an area to wash your hands) so ladies and gents please take note that if you'll want to use the bathroom while at this restaurant you will be promptly directed to an area downstairs in a separate part of the building. Food was ok, and quite pricy but the service was really good and we were really lucky to be able to do our nails immediately after finishing lunch. The grass jelly wasn't so good, but the sauces and other dishes at the self service condiment bar were quite good, the spicy soup and seafood soup base for the hotpot was really good too. I found the service a little too overbearing and slightly obsequious, but when you were in need, like when u raised your hand, you couldn't find anybody.

Unfortunately I did not have anything that I thought was spectacular except for the cookies at the entrance...

This department store has been around for many many years, originally the place was going down the slope in early 2000s but after reopened as ATT4FUN in 2014, it clearly got the mojo back. Not only the shop imported more mainstream brands which attracted a lot more customers but the food hall had become full of choices as well.
