Hush Bar — Attraction in Ko Samui

Visited this place a few times recently. Bar staff are friendly, and the security team are also very polite and approachable. Lively atmosphere there. I was quite disappointed though because for a “hiphop” club they do not play much hiphop at all - it’s mainly “dancehall” type music. I did not hear one track by hiphop legends such as: Tupac, Biggie or Eminem, for example. When they do play the odd hiphop tune, it is usually a “remixed” version, and not the original track, which people would really like to hear. Also, having “tip” boxes at the bar with “Team Anal” and “Team Pussy” labelled on them is quite distasteful, in my opinion, and shows a lack of class...

Absolutely HORRIBLE! if you are a woman be careful here. I was attacked by a Thai lady or lady boy and I did nothing to her! She fell on my friend and I looked at her after she righted herself. Because I stared at her she choked me and pulled my hair! No one in the club helped me. When I asked to speak to the manager he simply told me that Thai women are aggressive. I have bruises because of this attack and I am very upset. The sad thing is no one assisted, the owner was not helpful and did not seem to care nor did the staff. They only want your money. Me friend and I were at the hush bar a few weeks ago and were attacked for dancing by some locals. It seemed the woman were mad that the men were paying attention to us and the started to push my friend which then caused me to fall . The tried to jump on me however I was able to push them off. They were escorted out of the club and the manager just told us that’s the norm and we should be fine. Our entire conversation was in English until I mentioned to call the police after being attached and he acted as if he could not understand English . This club is not safe and would not recommend for women traveling alone...
