I went to this place after I had checked their menu out a couple of days before. Both times the staff were very friendly, gave explanations and recommendations.
As I came alone and the place was crowded I feared that they might not offer me a table for four (the only one left) - but I was mistaken. The young lady showed me to the table and brought the menues ( one for Thai food -- and one for Indian food both with a plethora of options to choose from) immediately. There are a lot of Thai dishes at 90 Baht - so if you are on a budget you might still find something delicious. I opted for the vegetarian version of Massaman curry - and I can honestly say: It was very good. The veggies were to the point and the gravy was excellent. There was enough to drown my white rice in it - I am a sauce lover. As I was curious I checked around what other people had and what feedback they gave to the waitresses or the owner. Everybody seemed pleased and the food they had looked really good. So, should you look for a good restaurant - nothing fancy - but really good food at decent prices with very nice staff - give this little place a chance. Even if you are a larger party it's no problem - they quickly join some tables. I will go back for sure and give the Malai Kofta a try. Read moreMe and my husband were in Koh Samui and being Indians, thought of trying this restaurant. We read the reviews before heading here and were expecting poor service. To begin with, this restaurant is not even run by an Indian. Secondly, we didn’t wanna risk eating bad food so we only ordered a starter - Chicken Chilly. Yes I know I should’ve known better. The food as expected took 30mins although we were the only customers sitting there. As the chilli chicken was kept on the table, I realised my mistake of ordering food here. The pieces were huge and the chicken was old cause it was so hard to chew and even smelt pungent. The gravy tasted like chicken was tossed in ketchup + garam masala. Horrible. I would not suggest anyone to...
