After a very beneficial chiropractic session at the Samyan Branch Clinic, I decided to look into the possibility of donating a coffin to a nearby temple. To my pleasant surprise, I discovered that there was indeed a famous temple located just a 7 minute walk from the clinic that accepts such donations. This felt serendipitous to me. In Thailand, donating towards the cost of a coffin is considered a meritorious act within Buddhist traditions. It is seen as a form of merit-making, where one accrues positive karmic benefits through this compassionate gesture. Even for non-Buddhists, this donation is still viewed as an admirable act of kindness that can positively influence one's spiritual development. The ability to conveniently donate a coffin at a temple located just a short distance from the clinic I had just visited made this opportunity feel like it was meant to be. The combination of the beneficial chiropractic treatment and the chance to make a meaningful donation resonated with me as an auspicious and fortuitous experience.

Have been here numerous times. Shall give a review. Don't come during weekends or festivals. Weekdays are great to enjoy the temple and see how people pray and offer. Coffin donations is 500 baht. If you want to donate more, just buy in 500s. So each 500 baht, you will get a piece of pink paper to write your name/family name. Then you will receive a "receipt£ to confirm you did donate to this coffin temple. Then you go into the coffin room and put glue at the back of the pink paper and paste it onto that side of the coffin. Try to take the top one as the top will go off first. Once you placed the pink paper at the coffin, proceed to the main temple and burn the "receipts" as offerings. Hit the drum 3 times and hit the bell 3 times. You are done!

Blue MRT Line. Station 27 Exit 1 of Sam Yan Station. Dunno why but when it we went, it was so quiet. Not much pple around When we went. Friend gave simple prayers and donation then we left. And if you google or grab ride here, the landmark is really known as Donate Coffin Temple although the temple has a really nice name.
