Let's Relax Spa MBK Center — Attraction in Wang Mai Subdistrict

My wife and I booked the Thai massage with hot herbal press package. THB1300 each. Firstly, the website to do booking was unfriendly. We gave up and decided to go to the branch at Central World to book directly. Managed to get a couple slot 2 hours later (on website it was not available).

The reception area look posh as any spa should be. We gave feedback about the website but it seems that she wasn’t interested to hear.

Our appointment was 12:30 but didn’t get any reception till 12:45. The couple room is nice. Masseuse were friendly.

Now, we paid for a Thai massage. We had experienced in our previous visits to Bangkok. Frankly, we visited this place in 2019 and the massage was good then. But the standard of the massage we just had was very disappointing. I think they gave us 2 rookie masseuse. Other than not giving us proper Thai massage, I find it odd that they have to ask the front desk when I wanted to go to the toilet. My wife complained that the massage was too light and she didn’t feel any better after the session. I agree with her. They were too polite and nice for us to tell them. The only part we both felt was the hot herbal press that I thought should have been done earlier. Btw, the aircon was freezing.

After the massage we were served with tea and mango sticky rice. That was actually the best part.

I don’t think we got the value for the money we paid or for the good reviews we read here. Perhaps it was our luck but we certainly had hoped to get good service especially for foreigners who can only visit Bangkok occasionally. Good to ask about the experience of the masseuse when you do booking next time and asked for...

NOT WORTH IT! SO not worth it don’t bother wasting money.

booked and prepaid for my family of 8 at 10am, mall didn’t open till 10 sharp and we arrived the shop at 10:04. We didn’t get to enter the room until 10:45 ( drinks was only offered literally SECONDS before we entered the rooms). 3 of us hot stones 90 mins, 4 of us 90 min package, 1 picked 2 hour Thai massage. I get a hot stone massage every now and then in diff places so I know how it’s supposed to be but this time I had her hands/stones on me for less than half the time. She spent most the time washing towels and didn’t massage much. When she did there was no strength at all. She burnt me thrice (mind you I don’t react much to cigarette burns already) and neglected my request to avoid an implant on my arm thrice as well. We were dressed and kicked out of the room by 12:05pm. Our hot stone massage was 2200thb but I honestly felt that my 600thb Thai massage on the streets was so much better. My uncle who chose a 2 hour Thai massage had his one foot massages for over 45 mins and the masseuse didn’t even bother when he asked her to move on, so he just left early. Customer service was terrible they rushed and hurried you out of the place. They didn’t tell u while you’re blindfolded when they slapped a hot stone on me or slapped a wet towel on me. If you wanna pay 1500thb extra just for the nice environment and mango at the end then go ahead but it ain’t...

Horrible experience! We booked a 5pm massage package (scrub, full body massage, and foot reflexology), something we've done countless times before at other branches. Upon arrival, Sam at reception insisted the MBK branch starts with foot reflexology, which was not the normal sequence of the massage. He kept insisting they do it in this sequence which we know isn’t true as we’ve booked this same package countless times before in different locations!

After much back and forth, he told us to return at 5:45pm. We agreed, and proceeded to commence our treatment. But after completing the scrub and massage, we were told no recliners were available for the foot reflexology! Sam had apparently forgotten this was part of our package and tried to force us to do it on the bed instead. Of course we refused as that’s not the experience we paid for!

Instead of relaxing, we left more tense than when we arrived. After much debate, they eventually refunded us, but this was by far the worst experience I’ve had with Let’s Relax Spa—other locations were fine, but...
