Original interactive museum. However 2 things I didn't like. very very expensive ticket, 35€ even interactive museums in Paris are half this price for 1h30 min of cinematic scenes. the scenes/rooms are way too short, I didn't have time to admire the beauty of what was shown to me, when we know that the Byzantine mosaiics are not visible in Hagia Sofia, it's a shame to get 5 sec only to see them. Globally speaking I really dislike the fact I was rushed between each room, even the room with all the Turkish governors was so short that I didn't have time to read half of the info linked to the portraits, before the scene was over.

I’d have expected a lot more detailed history, information, and artifacts for the price.
In addition, if you visit their cafe in the same building you cannot use the museums bathroom as well.
The whole museum complex is very interesting, and ambitious, but it needs more information and coordination before it’s worth the high cost.
I also don’t know why it’s located directly across from the blue mosque, but it’s the Hagia Sophia museum… it would make more sense located near/at the Hagia Sophia.
It’s overall enjoyable, but the experience is worth 5-10...
